Do you think there will ever be a vertical, wide-chute, TWIN-GEAR style of juicer? That would be interesting. Perhaps you can present this idea to Omega or Tribest.
LOL, you nailed it, it's a bear to clean. As I've written before, I have a love/hate relationship with mine(esp during clean up). No doubt about it the juice is amazing, including the yield. I even purchased a few others to try; Vert, Omega's(single auger), etc. Also tried out the Champion again(which I owned for yrs when I only did carrots) and promptly returned them all. Too slow, didn't handle the massive amts of juice I was doing, too much pulp, etc. Even the juice would get hot after juicing very long with them. I have juiced(during a 90 juice feast), 36 8oz glasses in one juicing session and my juice still was cold/cool when it came out. BUT,, it's cleaning it, sucks. Esp that blasted screen. Thus, the love/hate.P.S. How's about a juice off between the GSE and the newest Omega NC 900(which I have thought about trying at some point because of size and convenience, tho not sure how it'd stack up nutritionally, etc)
+Susanelizabeth Turner i just got mine and because so many ppl said it was so long to clean i almost didnt buy it... man that would have been an error. I love the GSE 5000 and contrary to you and other ppl saying it's "long/long" to clean, i find it no hard than my previous Breville Juice Fountain juicer, mayber 2 more minutes but no more. For me the GSE 5000 is perfect and a much welcome addition to my kitchen!
Oh boy. I'm torn between The green star and the solo star
I use GSE-5000 and love it. There's nothing out there any better.
