Excellent video, important information for the ones from out of state in the Midwest looking for this type of adventure. Thanks for posting this well made video.
It's been a little bit over a year since I moved to Kentucky from California and I've been told that this is a place to go for overlanding can't wait to check it out thank you for this video it is very inspiring!!
I grew up 1 mile from the bridge on Barkley. We owned the store on the left going towards Cadiz. I'm here to tell you that old bridge was SCARY going across if you met a dump truck or 18 wheeler!
I saw you guys down there this past weekend!Maybe not all of you, but definitely the Lunchbox. You really don't ever see too many of those anymore, especially turned into off road vehicles!
Thanks for all the great content. My wife and I have some. Time off between Christmas and New Year and are thinking of visiting Land Between the Lakes. What’s your opinion on visiting this time of the year.
Saw you driving towards it on our way back home from Lexington and looked you up on TH-cam! Cool video man! I grew up taking trips to there during the summer and it was always a blast
I'm from kentucky too. Its nice seeing someone doing a trip through lbl. Great areas to disperse camp. I found you cause I just bought a Jeep wk and it's basically the same as yours. 5.7l hemi etc. Its just the limited not the overland
Good stuff dude! We almost made the trip down to LBL a couple weeks ago, but opted for a circle tour around Lake Michigan instead. Gotta get down there someday. 🤙
Great to see a video from my neck of the woods! Next time you are around contact the Paducah Jeep Owners Club on Facebook. Great group of folks that can show you around all kinds of sites that lay hidden in the woods. They also have a recovery page that will will be more than willing to lend a hand if one of the 300 roads gets a little hairy.
Nothing that's stopped me. I've had to replace the steering rack because it was leaking, several bushings, and the bearing in my front driveshaft. All normal wear and tear.

First time mudding in my new 2020 wrangler! Drove 111A and 305. One of the most intense moments of my life! Love this place!

are you bringing the Rover out Sunday? we have a ride planned!
turkey bay has a few of those trails that starts off looking really simple then turns into something that will make your rear pucker up.
I grew up around LBL . . . It is so beautiful with so much to do!!
Amazing videos and the most stunning views are all in here at your contents.
Did you see any Dogman or hear any howls?

That thing is a beast. He's down there pretty much every weekend using it too!
Good stuff, I've always driven the fire roads when I go there. Never did Turkey Bay.
Beautiful area and some nice video. I bet it's amazing in the Spring.
The van is bad ass
Looks awesome!! I can't wait to go next week. Hope the weather is good I bet it could get slick out there.
Heck yeah! I’m hoping it gets the chance to dry out some this week. I hear that some of the 300 roads are just permanently muddy though!
Thanks for the video. I enjoyed watching it)
Until the DOGMEN TOOK OVER!!!
Cool video!! I like the van that is real nice!! 👍🏾

That's awesome - I think I'll get a bigger sticker for the back window! It's a great area. I'll definitely be going back.

Great choice! I’m guessing it has QDII?
@@RevereOverland Yes sir! QDII. It's not bad at all. But I definitely need some wheels and tires to really get some optimal performance out of it!
Good stuff dude! We almost made the trip down to LBL a couple weeks ago, but opted for a circle tour around Lake Michigan instead. Gotta get down there someday. 🤙
It's worth the drive! Maybe when it's a little warmer though.

I'll definitely check you all out on Facebook! It'll be great to have someone show us around, because we don't know the area very well.
Be careful...Dogman hides there..
Great video man! Thanks for sharing!
thats a nice jeep cherokee snatch
Great video! Good thing that H3 has lockers!
Agreed. They probably should have been on to start with, but I think he was showing off!
Good video, keep them coming 👍
Moving to marion soon is there any other areas near by there?
Bigfoot heaven.
what are you running lockers, or open diff?
your trips in your 07 wk inspire me, i have one as well
Travis Biggs they’re great off road. The biggest problem is aftermarket parts! What trim is yours?
What all have you done to your WK? It looks great.
Great video as always!
Appreciate it! I hope to see you and Leah on the next one!
I'll be there if nothing comes up
Great video!!!
Have you had any breaks on wk on the trail?

Check out dogman encounters
Looks like a great trip what campground did you use, we were thinking of going there in May.
We stayed at Energy Lake campground. It was pretty full even in April, so it might be worth booking a site online or over the phone!
What service roads were those
I don't remember, but I have the GPX files here: www.revereoverland.com/blog/2018/9/16/kentucky-overland-ride-land-between-the-lakes
