I have this stethoscope bc I have tinnitus and it by far the best one I have had. It really helps with chest sounds and manual BP, also the heart sounds are AMAZING! Abdominal sounds can be slightly loud if the patient is on the hyperactive side, but this stethoscope is absolutely a life saver for anyone who has difficulty hearing sounds. The price is really worth it IMO.

I have tinnitus, too. I'm excited to upgrade to a high-quality product. I would linger on quadrants trying my best to listen.

This is an excellent stethoscope for detecting murmurs. Touch the patients' skin LIGHTLY to pick up low-pitched sounds, such as murmurs. Check out the video starting at 1:40 where I talk about this in detail.
      Thanks for watching!

Could you possibly make a video about how to change the diaphragm on this model stethoscope? I cannot figure it out on mine! It would be so so helpful

@rikkig3689 as I explain I this video around 1:45, it only has one listening surface that serves as both the bell and diaphragm. You need to apply different pressures to use it as such. Your stethoscope should have also come with the pediatric adapter to help narrow in on children or small patients.
      Hope this helps!

I’m also having this issue. The diaphragm is not sticking and I’ve had this issue for months

@@mauricefrank5382 I recommend referring to your instruction booklet or to contact Littman. They have really good customer service. Hope you get it to work!

I'm currently researching different stethoscopes to upgrade from my existing one, and this seems to be the best one I've found so far, could you tell me if this stethoscope would still be suitable for taking a manual BP alongside the points you have mentioned in this video?

Yes, absolutely! I noticed the biggest difference in being able to identify heart murmurs.
