The bathhouse is one of the few places in society where you will feel safe as a gay man and the feeling of being together with other gay men. For me, walking around naked with only a towel with other guys naked in towels is one of the hottest things at the bathhouse, besides meeting a guy that you really like. Didn’t want to appear as a couple…. Six hours went by way to soon. On the ride home all he did was complain.. He didn’t have any action… I saw him on the peripheral a few time, I had beginner’s luck 🍀 I had three encounters, three orgasm, all in public, never used the room. Had a blast…. A good personality and sense of self is even better than a hot body… Never went back.💦

Rent is expensive in bigger cities, and straight and bi people are just as nasty as we are (❤️❤️❤️) and businesses don't want to leave money on the table! IMHO a person can still be quite attractive at any age as long as they are somewhat confident and project a good self image. I have been to various baths over the years and rarely rule out a guy over 40. How someone looks isn't nearly as important as how they act...at least to me.

These days with so many “picture perfect” looking supermodel gays there’s a lot of expectation for that in the real world, which, just isn’t common. But alternatively, myself and many guys I know are discovering how much more fun older guys are and while tight bodies might feel fun or look good, older dudes often know what they’re doing and what they want! There’s a lot of appetite out there for all types and many, myself included, are tired of the young boring supermodel dudes.

There generally aren’t any themes that anyone’s follows, outside of assuming a jockstrap probably mean bottom. But even then, that’s not always true. The only way to know is to ask :)
A lot of times the locker or room key is on a coiled band that you put on your wrist. You can use this to flag your preference. So left for TOP right for BOTTOM. Some guys will also drape their towel over their shoulder to either cover their ass or genitals to further indicate their preference. Of course it is always best to just ask.
