People were hyped for that after he was denied a spot on the team for the last tournament arc on a technicality, especially with the episode where Buu showed he'd been training hard; so hard that Fat Buu wasn't fat. He looked like a cross between Fat Buu and Super Buu, and had a good showing in a spar against Goku where he made great use of wide spread energy blast showers to limit the amount of safe space and control his opponent's position to a limited degree. But then he fell into hibernation because he exhausted himself between training so hard and that spar, so they had to find someone to fill the empty slot last minute. No one could think of anyone, but Goku decided to try asking Freeza on a whim. Considering the stakes of the tournament, he wasn't gonna say no unless he was feeling petty and I mean _really_ petty, like letting go of a ledge you're holding onto for dear life because a person hanging onto you for dear life just said something that made you a little upset and letting go will also kill them as it kills you; that kind of petty.
16:34 the wish was for Goku to be a kid, but it was an accidental/botched wish. Emperor Pilaf from the original series used the GT-specific Black Star Dragon Balls which were kept in a hiding place atop Kami's lookout because they were too dangerous, and intended to make the wish he'd always wanted to make (presumably to be king of the world). Goku had been training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber at the time and came out just in time to stop Pilaf from making his wish. When Goku effortlessly foiled Pilaf and his goons, Pilaf says in the heat of the moment 'I wish you were a little kid again, then I'd really teach you a lesson'. Pilaf had already summoned the dragon by this point but hadn't been able to make his wish, so the dragon grants the wish Pilaf said without thinking. The Black Star Dragon Balls were made by Kami before he forced the darkness from himself, so while their potential for granting wishes is much greater, the cost is also proportionately greater as well. For one, they scatter across the galaxy after the dragon grants a wish rather than just the planet, and also if they aren't on Earth when they reactivate the Earth is destroyed. I don't remember if the how or why of this is ever explained. The first half of the series is a hunt to recover the scattered Black Star Dragon Balls, although trouble they inadvertantly bring back to Earth with them makes a wish on them and no one realizes this until the Earth starts to show signs of destabilizing nearly a year later. After that the Black Star Dragon Balls cease to exist, specifically Piccolo chooses to die with the Earth and stay dead after the Earth is wished back so that the Black Star Dragon Balls become inert. Even then, GT is mainly a series that tries to do a deep dive (or at least deeper than Toriyama ever took) into the nature of the Dragon Balls. Without the Black Star Dragon Balls, the second half of the series takes a darker look at the traditional set instead.

I might get stoned to death for this, but I prefer the DB OP than Chala head shala. Though the performance in the 2nd OP is very powerful which I like very much. The gang and Frieza teamwork was pretty good. Super overall was pretty mid, but that was definitely one of the best, if not the best part of Super. DB Heroes is an arcade/card game. The mini-series is used as a promotion for the game. Not sure, but I think it has something to do with the Kai of Time manipulating, well, time, in order to return and also power up older foes and characters, while also introducing new characters. It's created by Toei animation as oppose to most of the other media which was created or at the very least, supervised by Akira. I could be wrong, but as far as I remember, ganun sya.
