Nice job man. I had so much trouble trying to play you tube through blue tooth until I got your video. You have no idea how much I thank you man. You did my day and saved me 500dollas because i wanted to install a dive to I could listen TH-cam. Thanks you again.
You can also just plug a fire stick into the HDMI and hotspot to your phone for streaming and based on your unlimited plan you can watch that way as well without all the custom wires
@@mamapreneur8605 I did same thing. I used a firetv stick lite. I have a 2010 T&C That's has AV Input. I bought a AV to HDMI Converter hooked up the AV cables to van, other side of converter I hooked up the HDMI to the FireTv. I put all stuff behind the Media Panel in back. Just use the VES System to change between monitors.
Hi and thank you for this video. It works perfectly for my Dodge Grand Caravan 2016 and I can watch Google Maps on the UConnect screen (and Netflix etc). This screen is bigger than de phone. Just a precision, it works only with the Apple Adapter (60$) - the one from Amazon (20$) or else do not works.
A lot of lighting to hdmi adapters are warning that streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Price, Disney+, etc, won't work... but I can see in your video that you're making it work for Netflix. Are those offline downloaded videos? Or can you share exactly which adapter you have? TH-cam supposedly works without issue, though. We really want to get videos going for the kids since the content they watch isn't easily purchaseable in DVD or USB downloaded format.
Will this work for a 2019? We are looking at getting some TVs installed where you have yours at and one further back for the very back row. I haven't had my van very long probably a month so I'm still learning a lot about it. I upgraded from a Honda 94... Lol All this advanced technology it's pretty awesome. Thank you for this video I'm going to show my husband.
Any recommendations for the kids listening to they’re show while we listen to music in the front, we bought a used 2020 and it’s missing the remote and headphones
Well done Dad. Did something similar setting up the updated entertainment system in our company long tow rig. 94 F 350 Centurion. Wanted to update it, and set up an HDMI input splitter, for laptops and tablets, and picked up the same adapter. Wife and I use it, but so do a couple of our drivers. Added an APU, and over bed bunk, and the 26 inch smart tv are on a food down bracket from the roof, facing thenrear seat, and bunk. Seat also folds out to a bed. Figure the 4 into one was a good add, since you don't have to unhook one to hook up another, so the laptop, PS4, HD player, can be set, sbd stored for convenience and access. Current wheelchair van is a 17 Grand Caravan SXT Plus. Been a double amputee for a little over 2 years. Also use that to travel. Think I'm about to have a little after hours project at the shop on Saturday. Wife will like it, and I'll wait fir the anniversary trip to reveal it. Thank you for making this video. Will make sure to sja3re it as well. Know a couple firdt time minivan owners, AKA, new parents with a bit of experience. Part of why we chose ours. Parents od an adult, now married, no kids yet. And no hurry. But, if you buy a truck, snd plan to purchase a 5th wheel trailer, in w years, one does not buy a Ford Ranger. Buy lightly used, and get the one ton diesel you will need within the payment schedule.
Has anyone had any difficulty with not having the VES activate after connecting the HDMI cable? I have the 2020 and I cannot and i won't even give me the option to select VES. So frustrated. I feel like it shouldn't be this difficult. It may be my phone? I have an android? Any insight from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
Bc dodge technology is at least ten years behind. It loses Bluetooth connection to where it is not dependable at all. It’s a joke. I had no idea I was going to have all these problems when I bought a 2019 dodge caravan in 2020. My 2012 Mazda CX-9 had much more dependable and smoother technology.
same i'm trying to find answers. for me it would just say people ensure that device is on and volume is turned up. the ves and aux1 option are blocked off
Anyone know how to use my USB port? The one right above the aux jack. It charges my phone but I can't play music through the speakers. My new phone doesn't have an audio jack. When I click devices in the media aux window the front USB port is faded out.

If this is only for video. Another option is to connect Chromecast or Amazon fire stick. And just stream videos to it.
How do you so this? I cannot find any good videos on how to do it.

Nice. Thanks for sharing. This content is very helpful.
