Thank you very much. The first time is always hardest, but I hope you continue trying. This lighting video will show as much as I can on exactly how I do it.
To light the tip of the drone, you can use fiber optic filament. Just take a piece of it and heat shrink it around an LED, and you'll have pinpoint lighting anywhere you need. Leave the filament longer than you need, paint the part, and cut it flush. You're done!
I've done a bunch of fiber optics, I just don't want to try and drill through that thin body of the drone, or try and make one around the fiber. Thanks for the idea though.
I think with that battery holder I use this will be easy to light. It will slide in behind that back trim piece with room. I'm doing a step by step on how I'm lighting this one.
Awesome update and great plans! Man, I thought I was going to get blamed for the light again, what luck... 🤣 Shades of Black, it there a song like that? Anyway, like silver and grays there are so many shades and once you get them on then you can tell and that dome light will help that a ton.... LLAP 🖖
Britt Reid and Kato look great. Body paint looks fantastic.
Sounds like you have the lighting all figured out should look great. Enjoy the build. 😊
Thank you very much.
Very cool ideas with the lights. This is going to be cool. Thanks for sharing David

You'll have a blast with this cool car!
Heck yeah, I love the Green Hornet. Them and Batman were so cool in the day.
Love this update on the build. I have this kit and was thinking along the same lines to light it up. Looking forward to seeing your build.

I'm thinking of painting the dome light clear green to keep with the theme, but I'm not sure if it will hide everything.
Looks great Mark, but looks like Kato went to town on your hand!
Thank you. He got me with one of his Hornet Darts. LOL
So cool!
Thank you so much.
How did you do the black vinyl roof? Looks great 👍 👌
Thank you for watching. That roof is molded into the kit. I did nothing to it at all. It's the best vinyl roof I've ever seen in a kit.
Hello Mark i want to ask you where did you buy de dols.
Thanks loek
They are American Diorama on Amazon. Just watch out for shipping prices. Some are expensive.
Mark I would like to get in on this. I have one of these kits. Whats the dates and rules
Just jump on in. We are posting build pictures on GrandpaMark's Hobbies group on Facebook. There is no end date, so there is no time crunch.
