pre-apology for the long comment, Shayla, but I've never seen a reactor do all 7 of our girls in one shot LOL
I'm not gay, not female, married with children, old enough to be the father of any one of these girls, but I'm a sucker for great vocals, so I've been a Siyeon stan for several years now ... but just barely ... like, seriously tough to not just drop into ot7 with DC
both Siyeon's Speechless and Yoohyeon's Secret Love Song covers make me tear up. every. damn. time. no matter that I listen to them nearly every day
and Gahyeon is cute as ever and I am living for how her tone is deepening as she matures, but this version of Vanishing Paycheck is extra great because Gahyeon is the moneyhead in the group, carefully investing and watching her money all the time, so it just fits so perfectly
I've always loved Jiu's sheer quirkiness and her bubbly personality as well as her leadership within DC, but it took me a while to warm up to her vocal tone. this cover, though, was a turning point for me: she goes strong while the song still just fits her voice so, so well
and whenever Handong sings in Mandarin it's just instantly moving, it just hits different. her medley of DC Chinese version a few weeks ago was just gorgeous
let's not even talk about Sua's Copycat cover, I mean ... she brings world class vocals, flipping between soft and strong, ON TOP of just all the choreography one could imagine for that song. when Ryu Sera (of 9Muses) interviewed DC a few years ago, she asked Sua how she came up with that choreo and when Sua said, "I just listened to my body", Sera's eyes nearly popped out of her head
and then Dami, when she just sings, with that soft but steady voice, and just carries all the way through like that, it's just not fair

If you want to hear some beautiful live harmonies I highly suggest watching Jiu, Sua, and Siyeon's cover of "I Love You" by Position. It's so beautiful! ^_^

Yooyheon has always been vocal about supporting LGBTQ+ fans etc. So for her to cover this song, which is confirmed to be about an LGBTQ+ romance as you said by Little Mix themselves, just shows even more how amazing she is for supporting the fans. And she sings it SO beautifully and does it such justice. Totally relate to your reaction on that. Makes me cry every time I watch it xxx
As for Siyeon.... that performance gives me chills so much every time. Her vocals are just so special. Even Disney themselves liked and commented on the video :)

InSomnia love to pull clips from Gahyeon's "Vanishing Paycheck" for memes because we also know Gahyeon is incredibly conscious of money and really wants to be rich. We love it.
The cover JiU did in this video was "Event Horizon" by Younha. The cover with SuA and Siyeon that you saw in the suggested is another Younha song from the same album, called "Oort Cloud."
SuA choreographed her cover of "Copycat" herself, too. If you want to see more things she choreographed, she did the choreography for "Red Sun" as well as a dance cover of "Tadow" that she co-created and performed with Seungyeon of CLC or the DC unit dance cover of "Taki Taki," among others.
InSomnia adore any time Handong gives us content in her native language. It's been so hard for her to make it as an idol when she really struggled with Korean at first because existing in your second language is really hard. I personally really respect her for doing that because of how I've struggled with it myself, so. Her Mandarin covers and songs always move me.
Yoohyeon is the most vocally supportive of LGBTQ+ rights and fans, so it wasn't a _surprise_ when she dropped "Secret Love Song," but we still appreciate that she definitely knew what the song means when she covered it.

There's something so comforting about Jiu's voice. And omg, I was literally typing that as you said "her voice is so calming" lol
For Round 2: Yoohyeon - Touch (orig. Little Mix) is a given; beware **DANGER**. JiU has Honesty and I Love You 3000 solo but honestly I feel Switch To Me with SuA is better than either of those because it shows new sides of JiU vocals. SuA - Still With You (OST). Siyeon - Paradise (her first solo and tattoo). Handong - First Light of Dawn (first solo) or Proof of Heartbeat (OST). Dami - Once Upon A Time (written and composed by Dami). Gahyeon - Dlwlrma (orig. IU)
I would just suggest Dami's Dessert cover instead, I love the metal instrumentation, and the others have great covers too. I mean, it was a cover video, so a round 2 should be covers again.

Jiu's version is of her remembering her school days and saying goodbye to her twenties as she approaches age 30. I think you'll like Younha.

On January 1st JiU and SuA turned 30 in Korean age. On June 28, 2023 Korea is legally ending Korean age and using only international age, so JiU will go back to 29 again for another 10 months. SuA will be 28 again for a few weeks and then have an entire second year being 29.
