      Thanks so much for watching! Wow a Palazzo. It's so beautiful. We decided to start with something smaller but that is my ultimate dream eventually. I look forward to watching your journey too. Where is your Palazzo located?

    Thanks for the video. I liked hearing your reasons for purchasing in Italy. I too love the star ceilings and the pietra leccese so typical of properties in Salento. Btw (and only because you’re learning Italian…the “g” in Puglia is silent - so it’s pronounced poolyah. I look forward to your upcoming videos :)

    Just found your channel. We would like to buy a property in Italy, and have yet to decide on a region, so enjoying this series!

      Welcome! I'm so glad you're enjoying my videos. Tuscany is a popular region, and Sicily is known to be quite cheap houses but I can highly recommend Salento for its beaches and historic towns. Wherever you are drawn to, it will be wonderful.

      That sounds like a sensible thing to do and Salento with Love - Davide is wonderful to deal with. Choosing just one will be the challenge as there are so many options.

    If you think French is a difficult language, I can assure you that Italian is rather more complicated. I've been in Italy for 8 years now and can manage the language very well, but I was also pretty fluent in French before I got here which helped very much with the rudiments of Italian grammar. Plus, of course, everywhere in Italy has it's own dialect.....

      Oh dear! I think I'm in for a steep learning curve then by the sound of it. Thank you for the heads up Stephen :) Any tips will be much appreciated.

      All Italy is under earthquake risk exept Piedmont and Sardinia but maybe Puglia is the region at lower risk, specially Salento.

    • @BuyingahouseinItaly
      @BuyingahouseinItaly  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Australia is much older than that as a country but what I meant is it's only been colonised since 1788.
