Brilliant explanation Chris. A lot of people say to "hit down" on the ball or surf the knees towards target etc, but they don't really demonstrate or explain it right. You break it down very clearly and make it obvious.

I played golf for a bit when I was in junior high and got out of it and 15 years later I started playing again and I had lost every bit of skill and technique I developed all those years ago and your videos man have made me a better golfer now than I ever was back then and i've only been playing again for 3 or 4 months..I don't know if you'll see this but I just wanted to say thanks..love the content.

Thank you I have just watched 9 videos over hitting irons. You were the first one to show me where the ball should hit the club and related the parts of the swings to get that to happen. I lean back and don't have hip motion. Going golfing tomorrow

Thank you Chris. I love your visual graphics and clear to the point explanations. I have been searching for a view of this very thing but would so appreciate you showing this how I would see the club head and ball looking down from golfers perspective not club head view from spectators view. You are a blessing.

At 5:07 Chris talks about body position. This movement with you hips is the key. After watching this video, I’ve never hit the irons more pure and as long. I have an incredibly slow swing speed. My backswing is very limited. But this little change in my setup helped so much. Thank you.

Every channel presenting golf tips says they have the best system to learn the golf swing. I have watched many of them. These videos give me the best understanding of what a golf stroke is and how to produce it. I believe it is because the explanations make the most since to me so I can apply the ideas. It isn't enough to say here is how you do it - watch me hit the ball. Great job bud.

Hey Chris I’ve been golfing on and off for 19 Years. I’m 34 have never broken 85 (usually hitting 95). In the last couple years I’ve finally made the progression from a few lessons from a friend and now get that tour style ball flight on my low irons and wedges. And I drive the ball well 260-280 depending on the day basically straight and predictable. This is the first video I’ve watched where I you’ve made the basics of a gold swing so apparent and obvious. I have never been able to hit 6-3i well, but I think with some of these tips I’ll get there. I have a pretty nasty but predictable hook on those irons. I’ll stop the rambling but I look forward reviewing your videos.

Ryan great video . I completely lost my iron game . Going back to the basics is what I needed to hear and do , i think this video will help me a great deal . I never was a great iron player but I was never as bad as I am now . Ryan I'm hitting all my long clubs very well but hitting my mid to short irons closer to the hossell . Do you have a video for my problem . I'm going to practice this and hope this is the answer. Again great video . Thank you .

I have been golfing only a couple of months but I sort of discovered what you are saying on my own but in a more simple way. I found I make better contact when I keep my stroke short sort of like when I put but also swing my hips forward, that would naturally be akin to generating the swing you refer to. As you improve you can extend the length of the swing, but I find when I try to hit the ball hard is when hit it 20 ft instead.

I force my right big toe into the ground on the backswing. I’m a right handed so left big toe for left handlers. Backswing slowly. Release the pressure on the big toe on the downswing but keep the weight on your your leading leg. Focus really hard on looking at the back of the ball. Don’t look anywhere else. Try to see the club strike the ball. Release through the shot and follow through to a classic golfers pose. My new fitted clubs has me down to 10 handicap from 19 in just 8 weeks. Best golf I have ever played. I’m 60 yo BTW.
