Just found your channel after looking for a MK1 MR2 vid, and have very much enjoyed stumbling across the series it turned out to be - great work, very impressive result!
There's an old F reg near me, and has become a tool shed after being sat for 11 years or so. Was thinking of making an offer to basically do what you've done to this (now very pretty) mk1. Do you have any tips/advice on what to pay, how to convince the owner etc? 😄

Pursue that car! I buy most of my projects because I find them unloved sitting on peoples driveways. Be polite when you knock the door and make it clear to them that you want to save their once pride and joy and that’s all you can do. Good luck. Price wise, anything between £100-£2k depending on model and condition....

I found it the same to be fair. I’ve done a video on how I made it in the mr2 playlist if you want to make your own.
Where did you get injectors to fit the orginal ports? When I was looking for injectors I could only find the ones that go into a square port.
Dramatic Rooster I refitted the original injectors. I just cleaned them and replaced the seals
Did you use any torque settings on reassembly? Will be following all these videos when my MK1 comes back from painting.
Steve Ethelston no mate. There are very few in the Haynes manual. The only one to be very careful on are the valve covers. Barely tight on them at all.
What are you painting on the plastics & rubbers? Really interested to know cheers.

@@Resto.Nation Thx, was just wondering if it was something to prolong rubbers. I’ve recently purchased an aw11 and I think my fuel pump has failed. Your vids are very helpful and informative, really appreciate your work! :)

Did you delete the egr yourself and do you not have AFM
U.K. car mate. They are a lot more simplified that the U.S cars. Less cluttered to look at
