      Resto Nation Can I ask what did you torque the 8 nuts on the covers too and did you use any sealant at all? Thank you.

    • @Resto.Nation
      @Resto.Nation  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not tight at all! The book torque is silly low I think. If they leak then I can tweak them up a little. A tiny smear of non setting sealer on the covers and nothing on the seals under the nuts 👍🏻

    Looks ace! Where did you get the coloured silicone vacuum lines with that little blanking thing on the throttle body?

    • @Resto.Nation
      @Resto.Nation  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks, all the vacuum hose is standard 3 or 4mm hose cut to length. You can get silicone caps the same size.

      Only if you want something different. You can buy an off the shelf relocation bracket for less than £20 I think.

    Hey I am just seeing this video for the first time and have a question as i'm a little noob to this. So in the comparison made at about the 9 second mark there is the bracket looking thingy (not sure what exactly its called but I thought I heard someone call it a spider bracket once, idk) but its the piece that has a wire running over your spark plug wires and its covering the valve covers, and in the finished comparison it has moved but I didn't know you could do that and was wondering how? Was there anything special you had to do?

    • @Resto.Nation
      @Resto.Nation  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, I made my own throttle cable relocation bracket. I have done a video on how to make one. It’s in the playlist for the mr2 restoration I did on this car.
