Since you you keep the FX default, I’d recommend saving Filter on bank A and Noise on bank B. Then you can switch by pressing Shift+Fx button 5 or 6.

As long as you have a different colour FX selected for the 2 banks.

DID THE UPDATE NO ISSUES UNTIL I ADDED MY LOGO IN THE REV 7 IT SHOW UP BUT THE SERATO WAVE INFO DOESN'T WENT THRU THE SHIFT+33/45 (DISPLAY MODE) STILL DOESNT SHOW UP ANY ASSISTANCE WITH THIS WOULD BE GREAT & APPRECIATED.

Nothing stems wise has changed other than eq stems

adjustable stem control is why I still use DJ Pro AI...... can you midi map it if your not on a rev...... I been using ddj sx3 which I love.... but i guess they are phasing it out (after fixing pretty ouch everyu problem)

lol.... serato always way behind. Using stems on eqs with even beginner controllers with vdj. Don't see the big deal in limiting that feature to specific controllers. Never know, their next update may include automix 😂

This is exactly why I have never tried vdj
It's more of a children's toy to avoid working more than a DJing platform

There's no DJs on the planet making cut videos on VDJ

@@TheDJConnect I was just kidding about the automix, but I hv seen it been requested in the serato forum more than once. Even wmp hv a fade option... it's.
Contrary to the popular belief which is a major misconception of what automix is, it really is a helpful tool for anyone needing to step away from their decks, or to hv background music as a cocktail hour or cooperate event.
Rekordbox has the same thing as vdj and u don't hear anyone classing it as a toy.
Not sure what your definition of a pro level dj is, but vdj did hv a rough start with their integration on hardware in the earliest and that stigma still exists in the industry, like how u have viewed automix in vdj, but dont see it the same way (as a toy) with rekordbox. It's no secret of the biasness that exist. However the program itself has come along way and only those who took time to try it would know.

Unfortunately I have a club gig tonight and havent had TOO much practice time with it,
But it played for a solid hour with no issues,
So I think it'll be fine

@@TheDJConnect I didn't reply to this yesterday, but it got taken down for some unknown reason. Yes apparently the Rev 7 has a split cue. I think something needs to be changed within settings on the controller.

Wish Serato had more extensive midi mapping like traktor. Traktor had midi mapping on lock! There would be no need for an update for 45 long press🤷🏾♂️ even the stem EQ control, even virtual dj had this feature right out the gate🤷🏾♂️
They didn't launch their stems with eq control ?
That dropped at least a year later
I don't think the rev works with traktor at all ,
It just got rekordbox support

You never explained how to actually trigger the stems using the scratch bank buttons

The stem eq is activated by shift flanger or shift reverb
On the left and right decks
You’re right that feature you demonstrated triggers the stem eq but the hot que & scratch bank buttons pressed at the same time will trigger just the stems using the scratch bank buttons

What i dont understand is that eq funktion because i could eq the stems before the update already. Is it such a difference?

HUGE difference,
When you kill a stem, it kills everything
Now you're killing the eq first to say 50%
And THEN it activates the stem,
So its less abrwwsive to the mix
