Dale says he is not a pro.....but what he does puts several so called "pros" on TH-cam to shame with his detail and planning, not to mention easy to understand lessons. Well done, Sir!
Thanks Jim, but it is true...not a pro. But I do appreciate you saying so, just really enjoy working on the old bikes, and sharing what little I know with others, I am also learning at the same time. I think when we stop learning we just as well take a dirt nap. For what else is there. Thanks for hanging out in the shop with me.
Hey Dale it's Joe I'm rebuilding my Suzuki 1 85 19 72 Sierra and I can't find the piston and rings anywhere .Where can I get them now? do you have any idea? thanks for your help.
Hi Joe, I have not had to look for piston and rings for one in a long time. The cylinder that I bored and fit the piston in this video, the customer sent to me. He told me he got them from his local dealer. The dealers have the ability to access all the dealer inventories across the country. I also look on ebay of course. Not sure if Wiseco is making them but I would check their website. Hope you find them, best of luck in your search. Thanks for hanging out in the shop with me.

Cylinder resizing ..it is an art that requires the skills knowledge .. it's fun watching a pro Machinist do their thing .. very interesting Dale !
Thanks Mark, not a pro by any stretch, just getting it done. Thanks for hanging out in the shop with me.
Nice job Dale! always a nice change to see someone as meticulous as you are. 👍
Thanks Taylor, appreciate you hanging out with me in the shop.
Such precision! I can't cut 2 2x4's the same length. "Attention to detail" at its best.
Thanks Kevin, I'm not much on 2x4's either.... just not my thing. Not a pro by any stretch, just doing the best I can.
Another top job Dale.
Best wishes, Dean.
Thanks Dean, appreciate your support.

Wow finally made first, congrats, yep, I bet it does.
Geat video as always Dale, really enjoy the machine work. What grit of stones are you using on the AN600?
Thanks Josh, nice to have you along for the ride. I start out with 280, and give it a cleanup with 400, both in silicon carbide.

What tool did you use to chamfer the ports
I use the Foredom grinder, the 90 degree one is a CC Specialty tools grinder.
