Got one for an 86 mid/3 rating. Jr Smith base, Jr smith release 1 and Troy Brown Jr release 2, roughly 60/40 split. Max speed. Crazy fast and easy queue jumpshot for wings
Best way to improve your shooting as a 6'5-6'9 is to get at least an 89 middy or 3 ball for the jumper I use. Go Tmac base, Kyle Korver release 1 (Thanks Tutes) and Troy Brown Jr release 2. Blending is 57% Korver, 43% Troy. I use it on push timing and this shot is straight chicken
Michael Porter Jr base is a good alternate to KD to test for big shooters. Cam Johnson is good but it feels like the contest is high. I gave my homies Joe Harris base and that fixed his jumper. I used to use bird for cues and harden for speed and on big I use Aldridge for cues and JJJ for speed.
That’s how I choose my jumpers. I only use push or release on visual cues so it only makes sense to find two motion releases… 2k still makes it difficult to be consistent though
I do find the one motion releases much easier this year though. Last year I felt like I was shooting blind.om some jumpshots, literally just trying to time it. They did a good job of speeding up the releases while adding more movement, particularly in the lower body.
Dirk upper has the best que imo. I like to mix it with joVic 57% Dirk. I use KD base max speed with set point. Retirement is kinda high but it's usable with other bases as well
Dirk Nowitski is my favorite visual release queue for my 6'10. He really reels the ball back, and it has an awesome bent elbow queue. I use Dwight Powell or Eric Paschall bases, they seem be the best timing wise. The 2nd release is between LaMarcus or Wenbamyama. I was using set point, but push seems better since latency is always an issue.
I should note my 3ball/midrange is 78/82. I struggle with faster releases but probably not using the right queue. I thought I saw someone comment set point is better for B- stability or slower releases.. But like most...one game I'm 6/6, contested shots going in.........the next I'm 0/3..selling my team, wondering if my jumpshot is trash or if I need to go touch grass cuz I'm trash.
Cam Johnson Base! Come on Tutes! For releases, it would be great to see what blends test better than others. Brown jr/bey/korver and Oscar Robertson, for example.
I agree with tutes, great video. Please do a series on big man. They are really good this year and I have like three 7 ft builds that I love. I would love to know the stats on some of them. I use Timmy, Jaren Jackson, bases I use KD. I haven’t tested drummond but how and the hell are people greening with a f grade. That proves that stability doesn’t matter. 👊🏾✊🏾🙌🏾
I feel like personally 2 motion shots are best for catch and shooters, and 1 motions is best off dribble, just in my 2k playing experience. But these are good tips for those struggling for sure
Nope that opposite for me I’m iso suck catch shoot but my jumper pulls back to the same point whether I’m standstill stepbacks catch n shoot, fades, or contested the timing always changes but once it get that point I release
@@jimmygraham8554 I made a player that gets Mcgrady and my same release (Korver/Troy Brown) is a A speed with Culver but A+ with McGrady so there might be more too it idk. I'ma keep asking tutes
I agree. Releases are deffinitely for visual cues. Your release looks clean would of been dope if it was in video to try it out. Always good content my boy keep it up

tmac is the best base on the game
eric paschal or jonathan isaac for bigs
Go for a 90 mid 82 3 ball. At 89 you’re literally 1 away from hella gold badges if I’m not mistaken

Can't wait until you test big man jump shots, a two motion shot would help me see the release point better

Been saying this
I got you.
Bam Armidilo base
Release 1: dirk nowitski
Release 2: L. Shooter
Blending 50/50
What’s your 3pt/mid range rating?
@@cookgod87 93 middy
Tutes, what is your base, release 1, release 2 and blend?
Pretty sure it’s
base: Issach
Release: bird (for both)
Full speed
Takes a 79 3 ball.
Release cues are also very different using Tv vs Monitor. I have tv and use push setting. My cue is when the non-shooting hand flags above the head.
It really depends on your display’s input delay rather than it being purely Tv vs Monitor
terrance mann and nassir little release blend...visual cue for set point is so easy it pauses for a sec at the cue

Mix in Chriss release if you wanna speed it up.
I like Paschall Base with Aldridge and Jackson Jr as the releases, Aldridge in the 80% for higher release height and enough to keep the A speed.
I should note my 3ball/midrange is 78/82. I struggle with faster releases but probably not using the right queue. Cam Johnson Base! Come on Tutes! For releases, it would be great to see what blends test better than others. Brown jr/bey/korver and Oscar Robertson, for example.
Prob the most popular releases out there with good reason!
Which are the best releases with visual ques that are easy to see? 6'5-6"10
Oscar Robertson. same cue as in the video and i have been using it since 2k23, mastered the cue already
@patrickamaechi1881 that's larry bird release in the vid
@@KillahPriest7 yeah, I use Oscar Robertson and it's same 2 motion jumpshot it's same cue as the Larry bird release

Im using zach lavine base for my 6'9 center, is there a better base for a big? Cause i was trash with jt thor 😅
I feel like personally 2 motion shots are best for catch and shooters, and 1 motions is best off dribble, just in my 2k playing experience. But these are good tips for those struggling for sure
Yeah two motion is way too long for fades
Nope that opposite for me I’m iso suck catch shoot but my jumper pulls back to the same point whether I’m standstill stepbacks catch n shoot, fades, or contested the timing always changes but once it get that point I release
Not true at in the slightest 2 motion meaning u pull back helps with less contested shots
What jumper you using in this video?

I’m using Tracy mcgrady any sufggestions?
Please compare Mcgrady and Culver. Very curious if they are the same or if the 2k stats change the jumper
Different green window but the same animation
@@jimmygraham8554 I made a player that gets Mcgrady and my same release (Korver/Troy Brown) is a A speed with Culver but A+ with McGrady so there might be more too it idk. I'ma keep asking tutes
I have a 6'8 player with a 78 3pt. I love jumpshots where the visual que is at the head with two motion. Any suggestions?
What’s the jumpshot you using in this video though
Blinders and deadeye?
I agree. Releases are deffinitely for visual cues. Your release looks clean would of been dope if it was in video to try it out. Always good content my boy keep it up
Don't Bird release have a negative 71 green window on 2k labs or that's a typo?
Feel like that could be a mess up on labs part they’ll probably run a retest once 2kdevs leave the shooting alone for good
@@smokeyperception8871 oh I just checked ..they changed it
lol saw that but don't know what to make of it, can't be right
PLEASE TELL US THE SHOT ON THIS BUILD
Whats more important the base or the release green window.
Have u tried Favors js
So what other releases are your favorite besides Larry Bird. I like Larry but its one of the slowest in the game.
try messing w/ Oscar Robertson, Troy Brown Jr., Kawhi Leonard, and keep looking around?
what release is he using in this video?
What is that jumper and release and blind and speed you using in this video
the JS u r using is fire, what is it?
Your doing gods work totes stay blessed ❤
I think I will do this for my big man. Seems to much harder to shoot in a big this year.
I shoot lights out on anything 6’9 and below 😅
Facts me to bro on my 6’9 I’m shooting above 50% on my stretch big with way better shooting attributes I’m shooting like 12%
Dwight Powell for a big man is 🔥🤫
Have done Terrance Mann base yet?
First!!! Thanks for the drops Tutes!
My go-to release is Kobe. I blended it with PG for slightly more speed
I dont understand 😕 what makes Lillard and Curry no good?
What jumpshot are you using in this video?
do you think pippen release is good
LaMelo ball base, Charles Bassey release
Jus had to show yourself making a jumpshot 😂😂 tried to slip that in... I would've put a whole video of me hooping in the middle of this video lmao
