"Oh great, more techs, and just what are we gonna use monks for?" *3 Seconds Later* "Whoa, El Cid is getting pretty low, better get another monk over here"
You prolly dont give a damn but does anyone know a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I was dumb forgot my account password. I love any help you can offer me
@Larry Jaxon Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm trying it out atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Gets all monk techs for FREE with Saracen tech tree "Doesn't matter, I'm not using monks anyway..." "Screw you anyway." Deletes Mosque 11 11 11 Such a great Cid.
Regarding the transports: If they have none left, an AI trigger is activated that will more or less cripple yellow; e.g. they will no longer train more than 10 vills etc
Viper the buildings were still mostly Spanish in style because they were at the start of the mission belonging to King Alfonso and they converted later to you and they don't change style if converted.
"They are poorly upgraded" he says and moves to screen to watch enemy soldiers fighting under his (Imperial) castles with only fletching and with no ballistics...
so you have to research redemption to convert the mosque and when you leave a monk there he goes "they have thought me redemption" thanks berbers you da mvp
Ben Reubenson All the italian cities to italians, I think that one chinese battle has vietnamese in there with chinese civ too. But the balance would be tricky to achieve I think, they would have to redesign most of the campaigns, there has also been requests to add new campaigns for all the original civs that dont have one and an update to the current AoE format (mostly 200 pop cap), resonance22 has answered that is interesting but the priority is on multiplayer balance and bug fixes.
The reason you see so many towers in the low pop campaigns was to ensure there was something to fight, while not giving the ai the number of troops, or resources for troops, that would let the ai wipe out new players almost immediately.
Gummiel I think that the creators put the castle in that position when they were creating this scenario. Not sure about it but if it's true, well they didn't have a great idea lol
My world is shattered, I never make many Monks because of how expensive all the techs are, and this mission gives them out for free. I always felt it's a great bonus :(
worth watching until the end just for 1) sending King Alfonso out of the base "for some spice" 2) deleting the now learned monk and Mosque and 3) missing that last dock for 5 minutes
10:48 Cav archers and a camel attacks the pavilion which blocks the only other access point to your base, and Viper does not reinforce it. Is Viper allergic to building walls or something? I swear I almost never see him use them.
Interesting as always, however the 7 dead monks weren't very helpful =D , yes the upgrades aren't that useful in this case but they are free. No point being annoyed by a 15 year old scenario side objective lol. At the start one can literally kite all the units with just the conquistadors and just use everything for meat-shield and the Cid to take the onagers.
"A second wave of Marauders! We must flee!" "fuck that, i wanna kill them" *gets rekt and loses EVERYTHING he holds dear* "I should probably have fled" Who else but Biper? [jingle starts]
easiest way to do this scenario is to go to the open shoreline between yellow and green base and build docks there and destroy the enemy docks from the water.
37:15 i literally laughed myself to tears Not only he kills the monk, he cancels the WHOLE MOSQUE Beautiful Suleymaniye Mosque leveled to the ground, just because it's a nuisance. #OnlyTheBiper
The monk at the Musk says: "Please dont destroy our Mosque! send a Holy man and we will teach you...things" -you send the Monk. Then inmediately the same team that told you to dont destroy the Musk sends 8 Mounted archers to attack the Mosque. -One time again, the AOE Logic its OUTSTANDING!
I always heard that you don't research murder Holes because the castle will auto target rams at the base of castles instead of the enemy units protecting the Rams
He was not Saracen for starters, he was a Berber (But since the Berbers didn't come out back then, it's fine) He was born 1009 and died 1106 (Nearly 100 years old). He was a war captain and a prince for the Almoravid Dynasty which extended over the Western Maghreb (Morocco, Mauritania and Algeria) and the Andalus (South Spain and Portugal). He wasn't as warmongerish as the game described though. He was a fine marketeer and has his own policies to boot. I was taught about him like many years ago. I'm glad I could remember him. The lesson was more about the Moravid Dynasty rather than about him.
Its weird. When i played this scenario, after destroying a few docks, a an enemy army suddenly appeared in the middle of the yellow city. I Dont think they transported them since the shores were visible to me. I'm clueless as to why such army did not appear to fight TheViper
Hi Viper, not sure if you are gonna read this but I have discovered these campaign Series a few weeks ago. I haven been Binge watching it and I love the series. Thnx :)
The Berbers here represent the Almoravids, who were called in by the Moorish taifas at this time in response to Alfonso VI’s hegemony. They were a far more fundamentalist sect within Islam, and they were devoted to upholding Islamic law and tenants in their starkest forms. They were also the ones who conquered the mighty Ghana Empire, the first great West African empire.
Go early enough and you can destroy those yellow towers outside their city with just a knight/El Cid... Lack of Murder Holes, ftw!! Run if they find you~~
I really can't stand this mission very much. My problem is whether or not I should go offensive or defensive. If you go offensive like you did and have two castles next to the enemies base, then you have to make sure that you always have units near the castle because they can't endure on their own or else they'll be destroyed by the units. Another way to do this scenario is by going defensive instead by having two castles near your main base to defeat Yusuf's army that attacks you after twenty minutes or so. But the real problem is that it takes a long time to get the resources to reach the imperial age AND build up an army since Yusuf will send another army to attack you about twenty minutes after that. So, you can either be risky and hope that two castles with an army will work or you can just play defense for an hour or so until you have the resources to build up an army. Either way, I think this mission is a real pain to beat.
no point in going for the transports, as a you can kill the docks by that point and b i think they send two armies early maybe, and thats it, shame as if they really did send armies constantly and there was another dock in another sea it would have made it possibly into another lion and demon mission and killing the transports would be worth it. shame, but still a fun mission
"Cid, do not destroy our Holy Place of Worship. We will teach you all we know."
*Teaches all they know*
*Cid Destroys Mosque anyway*
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mosque
No one asked what a mosque was.
@@AnotherSchmoe🤓
"Teach me the ways of heresy" What ever monk wants to learn tbh.
Could not stop laughing when you deleted the monk & Mosque when the final tech was researched.
"Oh great, more techs, and just what are we gonna use monks for?"
*3 Seconds Later*
"Whoa, El Cid is getting pretty low, better get another monk over here"
"I will delve into the mysteries of faith"
"WHAT IS THE POINT!?"
I lost it.
but you gotta have faith!!
He has so much faith that he deleted the Mosque...
And deleted the monk that spent all that time learning...
We Must Flee "Why? I want to kill them" sees a 50 camels appear "Oh Shit"
I died watching that part
You prolly dont give a damn but does anyone know a tool to log back into an instagram account..?
I was dumb forgot my account password. I love any help you can offer me
@Romeo Marley Instablaster ;)
@Larry Jaxon Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm trying it out atm.
I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Larry Jaxon it worked and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thanks so much you really help me out :D
@Romeo Marley No problem :)
Gets all monk techs for FREE with Saracen tech tree
"Doesn't matter, I'm not using monks anyway..."
"Screw you anyway." Deletes Mosque 11 11 11 Such a great Cid.
yay conquistadors
*1 minute later*
loses them all
They were ''heroes'' to him.
JAJAJAJA! SANTIAGO MOTHERFUCKERS!
I almost choked on my drink when he deleted that fucking Monument haha
classic biper

Viper- "I wanna fight!'
not even 2 seconds later...
"Ohh shit"
2:47 All you had to do was follow the damn knight viper!
Hilarious episode! First fight losing all units, killing monk and wonder, missing the most obvious dock, hahaha
Viper the buildings were still mostly Spanish in style because they were at the start of the mission belonging to King Alfonso and they converted later to you and they don't change style if converted.
"They are poorly upgraded" he says and moves to screen to watch enemy soldiers fighting under his (Imperial) castles with only fletching and with no ballistics...
so you have to research redemption to convert the mosque
and when you leave a monk there he goes "they have thought me redemption"
thanks berbers
you da mvp
They actually skip Redemption.
Over time they eventually give you every monk upgrade, you just have to keep a monk there
"What are we going to use you for, Mr. Monk? Nothing!"
"Let's get a monk out here."
???
viper gets mosque that researches faith worth 1000 gold and pretty much always comes in handy aslong as enemy makes monks which they did..
>complains
this campaign shuold be updated with the recently added berbers
Ben Reubenson All the italian cities to italians, I think that one chinese battle has vietnamese in there with chinese civ too. Hopefully for the AoE 4 They could make it right, in general.
Prince Lothar hi. It’s been a year but the goths are polish. The Barbarossa campaign had them as goths
I got a kick out of your sarcasm toward the monk learning techs! You are great!
The reason you see so many towers in the low pop campaigns was to ensure there was something to fight, while not giving the ai the number of troops, or resources for troops, that would let the ai wipe out new players almost immediately.
39:10 those expertly placed castles tough. They cant even make any units there.
In do wonder how they got any villagers to build them up there :P
Gummiel I think that the creators put the castle in that position when they were creating this scenario. Not sure about it but if it's true, well they didn't have a great idea lol
casually deleting the wonder lol hahaha
My world is shattered, I never make many Monks because of how expensive all the techs are, and this mission gives them out for free. I always felt it's a great bonus :(
*TheBiper complains about free techs when he's low on gold*
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gold
Always a joy to watch these whilst I 'work'.
that casual micro to defeat the opening army! I died dozens of times as a kid attempting that.
Why do you never listen?
You were supposed to lose zero units in the beginning, the battle wasn't supposed to be beatable
this time he listened ... and decided to stay anyway ^^
Cedric Blum Its actually quite managable once you take onagers with knights
I`m excited to hear vipers reaction to the contempt of 2.6. When I was playing it I was like WTF is wrong with you guys?!
Didn't you learn anything from Jon D'ac?
DISCRETION IS THE BETTER PART OF VALOR!!!
Wow Yusuf is the same guy in the African Kingdoms Campaign... Mind Blown!
Yep! Yusuf is a Berber, not a Saracen!
worth watching until the end just for
1) sending King Alfonso out of the base "for some spice"
2) deleting the now learned monk and Mosque
and
3) missing that last dock for 5 minutes
37:23 best reaction
why
You must have panned over that dock a dozen times... but watching that mosque get deleted made it all worth it.
10:48 Cav archers and a camel attacks the pavilion which blocks the only other access point to your base, and Viper does not reinforce it. Is Viper allergic to building walls or something? I swear I almost never see him use them.
i think he is also allergic to queuing up farms at the mill. i see him manually replenishing farms i every campaign
yeah even in competitive matches ive never seen him build walls.. in Arabia also no walls
A surprise Viper upload is always welcome
It seems Viper was in a bad mood, tense voice ¯\(ツ)/¯
''they hav enothing more to teach me''
*Instantly destroys the Mosq*
deleted mosque!!!! SALADIN COMING FOR YA!!!
why they feel happy for it?
"A second wave of Marauders! We must flee!"
"fuck that, i wanna kill them"
*gets rekt and loses EVERYTHING he holds dear*
"I should probably have fled"
Who else but Biper?
[jingle starts]
🅱iper
"Goddamn" is the new "Oh No" in this mission 111
"Man I could've probably saved my trebs" oh really? 8V
Does anyone else notice how the scenario icons at 0:01 all look slightly different from one another?
easiest way to do this scenario is to go to the open shoreline between yellow and green base and build docks there and destroy the enemy docks from the water.
Just seen you take out the marauders, haven't finished the video, damn you are good, I never dared to fight that many units.
we must flee!
(viper) kills the whole fucking army.
37:15 i literally laughed myself to tears
Not only he kills the monk, he cancels the WHOLE MOSQUE
Beautiful Suleymaniye Mosque leveled to the ground, just because it's a nuisance.
#OnlyTheBiper
37:23 Brutal :p
What happened if we choose to destroy all transports instead of the docks?
The monk at the Musk says:
"Please dont destroy our Mosque! send a Holy man and we will teach you...things"
-you send the Monk.
Then inmediately the same team that told you to dont destroy the Musk sends 8 Mounted archers to attack the Mosque.
-One time again, the AOE Logic its OUTSTANDING!
the same was at the so called "Civil war" at the Enemy of my enemy campaign.
Well its a rebellious monk pretty much that tells you to convert the mosque, so nothing wrong with the logic here
The comments on Viper's videos, helps to keep the depression low, I crack laughing.
2:50 you're supposed to run away goddammit!!!
I always heard that you don't research murder
Holes because the castle will auto target rams at the base of castles instead of the enemy units protecting the Rams
That's the excuse. The real reason is that Murder Holes costs 400 stone.
200*, and 200 food
I personally wish they replaced Berbers with actual Berbers civ from the expansion instead of Saracens for the accuracy
Well you probably also know this already by now but they did this for Definitive Edition :D
perfect upload for a breakfast of scrambled bacon and eggs
He just published this ? I was hoping I will watch the whole campaign. Destroying that mosque was so heartless !
Lol, can't believe Biper forgot about that one dock so casually.
#clearly a noob
First time I've ever actually seen Herbal Medicine researched....
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herbal_medicine
jajajaja nice
, "i don't care about your garden monk upgrade" i was just thinking destroy it and you did jajaja
was hoping the ai would demo his trebs when they were on the shore
Where is the next campaign vid? wth man?
His full name btw is Yusuf Ibn Tashifin. We in our country study about him in 3rd year Secondary school!
MALEMization what did they teach you about him?
He was not Saracen for starters, he was a Berber (But since the Berbers didn't come out back then, it's fine) He was born 1009 and died 1106 (Nearly 100 years old). He's BLAZING IT!
The rare case where the command follow is useful
Looks like you can't kill yusuf with the death note
anyone else wants viper to skip the forgotten "bug flood" campaign?
It feels good to delete King Alphonso even if I lose.
Its weird. When i played this scenario, after destroying a few docks, a an enemy army suddenly appeared in the middle of the yellow city. I Dont think they transported them since the shores were visible to me. I'm clueless as to why such army did not appear to fight TheViper
the transport objective is really dumb. The other side of the river only had villagers.
Hi Viper, not sure if you are gonna read this but I have discovered these campaign Series a few weeks ago.
I haven been Binge watching it and I love the series. Thnx :)

Woot Woot a new campaign video!
wootololoo!
Omg the first battle was epic! :D
you could have just fled to the sanctuary right away without fighting
Why you didn't go full arbs? in masses they deal very well with camels, knights and outrange cav archers and mamelukes...
The guy is no Henry the Lion :D
When will you make the last mission of El Cid? I am waiting.
Go early enough and you can destroy those yellow towers outside their city with just a knight/El Cid... Lack of Murder Holes, ftw!!
Run if they find you~~
love these keep em up
You the best Viper! xD Really enjoy your vids
the most difficult part of the spanish mission should be 2-5. I am looking forward to watching you playing it
Yeah, in light of the Viper series I replayed it recently and got crushed four times. Damn that Berenguer with his unhistorical cannons!
Boris Tracy that is simply insane, you have to fight against imperial soilders with limited resources and army.
u have to be the coolest guy in the internet!
I tried to defend the first town and almost died like a noob
They could update the campaign and add actual berbers
I really can't stand this mission very much. My problem is whether or not I should go offensive or defensive.

this is the perfect uploading time!!!
So, uh... are you going to continue your AoE campaigns?
thanks for attempting the grassMP
3 People didn't like Biper deleting the monk and mosque
oh my, looks so easy when you do it!
I killed 2000 units on this map, they kept spitting out hords of units.
I know how to get through
we must flee ,oh wait ,we are going to kill them ........next thing you know three units are left
36:17 smarthy *triggered*
Why no love for Murder Holes?
What do you need to research to be able to build missionary?
oh thanks!
I think only Franks get those units, but I'm not 100% sure.
you have to play forgotten empires m3n
Viper you are an amazing player, but what was this game?
no point in going for the transports, as a you can kill the docks by that point and b i think they send two armies early maybe, and thats it, shame as if they really did send armies constantly and there was another dock in another sea it would have made it possibly into another lion and demon mission and killing the transports would be worth it. shame, but still a fun mission
Complaining about getting a bunch of techs for free without having to even do anything for it xD
