TINA and TIM again and we're still on the topic of child protective services so what happens at an initial visit when you knock on the door and somebody says shoo go away we don't want you here do I have any rights or well how about let's not talk about my rights what does a caseworker do when you refuse so there are rights of the people we investigated is their home so they have the right to tell us to go away they have the right to tell us they're not going to let us in they have the right to say I’m not going to fill out these forms um so you're allowed a couple things right you can't go into the home depending on what the allegations are you can then get what's called an emergency access warrant that's a new law that was issued a few probably about 15 years ago that will allow you access into the home so we have some things as caseworkers that we can utilize to get in the home but it really is dependent upon what the allegations of the case are because really the access warrant is to gain access to the children and we can do that or we just sometimes we just wait till the very next day and go see them in school great all right TINA and TIM again and just remember don't forget to subscribe to our channel or like us
