Hi! I´m from Brazil and just received these pens as a gift from my boyfriend. I thought they were normal colored pens and just found this video teaching how to use them. Wow!! It looks sooooo great!! Now I´ll be able to use them properly. Thanks for the video! :)

Ugh, I'm so jealous of your writing. I took calligraphy classes as a kid and my handwriting is still not decorative and fun like yours....definitely a skill I should work on. Great review.

If you don't want BOLD colors that you'd get from drawing straight with the marker ... take your watercolor brush and pick up color off the brush tip. I do that with certain watercolor pencils when I want watercolor without lines or stroke marks.
Your handwriting is amazing. Have you always had beautiful writing or did you have to practice it outside of the normal writing?

Hi sweet Kristina, you have such beautiful handwriting! I love it. And you always put 150% into your work. Love your everything, I will keep trying and working to get my penmanship prettier. Yours is just phenomenal.
I think these are pronounced phonetically "Aww-kawshya Saw-ee" the "hi" looks very much like heee, but they run it together so you don't hear it. The last word has two vowels, so Saw-ee. My mom and sister are Japanese, I'm only half. Never forget how cute you and Mannie are!!!! We love ALL your video tutorials ♥ Never stop!

I Got some from Ali a long time ago, same name,caps and everything 😱 and they work just like the zig, but the colours are more pigmented..

the whole thing where you wrote with the waterbrushes and then blended the pigment to create a "shadow": do you think that you could create a similar effect with the sakura koi field watercolour palette? I really like both items but I would rather get one over the other since the AUD exchange rate to USD isn't the best, and figured the koi field palette would be more versatile.

I've been looking around for a good set of water color markers. Those look great. Will the brush tip last? Does the water color reactivate after it has dried for a while?

Btw u can get these same pens on amazon for way cheaper. Theyre literally the same, and come with a blending water pen. Called ohuhu 20 watercolor brush pes.

I don't have one. But you can google brush lettering or brush calligraphy and find examples.

What is your view on schools not teaching cursive writing any more ?? I love your handwriting !!!!
I think it's crap. Cursive or penmanship is an art and it promotes individualism and all we are doing is dumbing down our children in this country just like they are dumbing them down by the way they teach math. Sad.
mohawk14616 I don't think it has anything to do with dumbing kids down or taking away individualism, but it's more about the fact that cursive handwriting has become dated. Writing essays or essay based questions for AP tests or college applications require you to print them, so teaching cursive handwriting has become irrelevant. I learned when I was in the second grade with all of my teachers saying we would need to use it in highschool, but clearly that didn't happen. I just don't think cursive is something that is seen as important anymore...take what you want from that, i guess!
Doris Pettengill It makes me really sad. Especially because I think a lot of the things I use in my lettering and calligraphy were first learned with cursive writing (connecting letters, writing a word all in one stroke without lifting the pen, etc).
Most of the schools where I live you are still taught cursive in 4th grade and you have to use it every once in a while up until 6th grade. That being said, after it is no longer required in classes hardly anyone continues to use it. Yes, it is beautiful, but it's simply just a different way to write. I'm glad I learned it because I am able to read the letters my grandparents send (they always write in cursive) however nowadays younger generations don't feel the need or want to write in cursive. There's also the fact that for the many other places that don't teach cursive, it is hard for us to write in it and then have someone not be able to read it. Being able to write in cursive has nothing to do with how "smart" or "dumb" a child is, it's simply just a different way to scribble down letters and I think cursive is dying out because it's just not that important anymore. I agree that it's an art form but as you can see in a lot of places, arts aren't supported very well by schools anymore so it's just a fact that soon very few kids will learn cursive in school. Nowadays, computer skills are far more important than "fancy writing".
+Zoe Pohl that's the way my school is except we learned it in 2nd grade. Now I write in a hybrid kind of thing that is messy.
Are these pens expensive? Where can I purchase them? I love how the bear looked shaded. Doing that with Copics or other markers would require 3 different colors and much more work from what I can tell. Jealous of your handwriting.

How much will they bleed through on regular paper? I thought about getting these for my bullet journal but I'm afraid they will bleed through :)

There is a video comparing these with the Spectrum Noir , they were a good choice too.
can these be used as regular markers too? i like to draw manga and am looking for some good markers for a decent price, i dont paint so if these are just for painting and that kind of stuff it wont be useful to me.Also, do they leak? sorry if i dont make sense
hannah A. You can use them as regular brush markers, but if you're looking for just something for straight coloring (not adding water), you might try Tombow Dual Brush Markers instead.

when you mix/blend the ink, does the tip of the pens get stained with the 2nd ink you are blending with?
hyukjaeluvs No. You just scribble on paper and all of the second color comes out.
