One can build a barrack and wall-block it, then build a cloning vat(...since Yuri is in Soviet, as said). When you train any infantry(or ground infantry, at least), due to its being unable to be released by the wall-blocked barrack, it won't cost money(or say the money will be refunded), and it won't be generated by barrack either; however, the cloning vat is still functioning as usual, and you get the cloned infantry, which equivalently means you get that infantry for free! However developers noticed this and then just patched it. Now you cannot access this glitch any more in either RA2 or RA2YR.
There also was a thing with cloning vats and hospital (in original RA2, infantry would have to enter the hospital to heal) When infantry left the hospital, vats produced its clone. Like that you could gather a whole army of yuri primes or just farm cash

They have crazy staying power fully promoted!). I started using this myself and my Yuri bases now have a much better defense than they used to. The only downside is the Allied jets, since the tank bunker does not protect against air units. The jets can destroy a gattling tank and leave the bunker empty, while it would take at least 5 allied jets to take down a gattling gun. Question: how are the scores determined on the end-screen after a game? What defines the total Score? And what specifically defines the Built score, just buildings? The amount built often doesn't make sense to the amount of Losses, e.g. in multiplayer games I often see people loose a lot more than they have built.

From what I know all vehicles are voxels, but perhaps have extra conditions for their movement. Perhaps Kirov is made to never tilt as it is a flying machine but it does not stop the Game to calculate if it is flipped out not. In case of MCV - I think that before it fully unpacks, it still have it "flipped condition" calculated. Or maybe the destruction of flipped vehicles has short delay in which it can start deploying. vehicles with the Jump Jet locomotor (Harrier, Beagle, the nonbuildable air transports and Boris MiG, Siege Chopper, Nighthawk, Kirov and Floating Disc) do not tilt in the TS/RA2 engine but they still register an angle they should be tilted at by pushy warheads, which is why you can't see it until it kills them.
I posted this question on the previous video a few hours before this one was uploaded, so you probably saw it, but I'll repost it here just in case you didn't: If there's a group of 18 or 27 prism towers and an enemy appears in range of all of them do they fire individually, only fire 9x beams, or group randomly? Is it consistent? If there's a number of prism towers not evenly divisible by 9, say 12, does it fire a 9x beam and a 3x beam, three 4x beams, or some other combination? Is it consistent?
Can you test these two scenarios? 1. Use Crazy Ivan on Nighthawk or Siege Chopper 2. Hover it close to a bunch of Rocketeers 3. Do they die in one hit? Or does it require two or more? This scenario too: 1. Use Crazy Ivan on infantry 2. Load the troop(s) into Nighthawk 3. Hover Nighthawk over water 4. Get Rocketeers directly next to the Nighthawk 5. Destroy the Nighthawk 6. Does the dynamite damage stuff in the air or on the ground?
5:12 I think you should test it again but with an online player, since rocketeers can be mind-controlled instantly, they should have been killed by Tanya. Maybe a "berserk" mode seal?
I tested so many things back in the day. For instance, with the gatlong tower vs gatling tank in bunker, the tower has long air range, but the bankered version has longer ground range.
reduce unit prices to $1 or as low as possible with industrial plants. check their build times, with 1, 2 and 3 production buildings (including 3x con yard)
Try testing this out but old in my day: On Yuri's revenge allied final mission 7. deploy Dreadnoughts and line them up at the edge East of the cliffs(make sure there enemies are not nearby on cliffs if they attack dreadnoughts) lengthening around the enemy base or destroy objective , then use attack on ground (or use way point all together) at the ship's minimum range and it will fire missiles out of bounds and it will be raining missiles down south, boring but crazy. it's a missile glitch. if does not work turn around the ships at the opposite direction.
I heard that if an engineer holds on with each hand to two rocketeers, they can get air-lifted to oils. Though I think that's just trench talk b/s... Great vid, btw.

Yes. Slave miners lost to causes that have no player attached also have this result (Chronoshifted, Magnetroned, or bridge dropped into water, flipped over by Kirov/Brute, radiation, Magnetroned onto cliff/bridgehut/another Slave Miner, barrel explosions, anything else I've forgotten here.)
With fire power upgrade affecting defensive buildings, could that apply to air units as well like Harriers, Black Eagles, Kirovs? If so how much of a change.
is it possible with a barracks a grinder along with 2 or more cloning vats (along with the power and infrastructure to get them all built of course ) to make enough money to equal a harvester mining ore or more? if it does work which infantry unit or combo of infantry will give you greater returns? in clones down under you have to deal with 3 of them vats so there is something to start with there.
you can already exceed the rate of one Harvester if you have an industrial plant by tossing discounted Rhinos into a Grinder (they'll still give full price refunds.)

Does attacking ship from side front or back does the same or different damage ? Since many ship in this world have Anti torpedo protection which could reduce incoming damage from torpedo. And including gunfire because of more armor to be penatrated make it less chance to hit something that important.

Got a question for TG that I recently thought of: If your opponent threatens to chronosphere 9 apocalypse tanks into your base and then Iron curtains them, what would be best way to stop the attack without using mind control. Imagine the horrors in a team play map where a pair of allied and soviet players plan to finish the game this way.

Can you try putting robot tanks in tank bunkers, selling the control center, and try to ungarrison the tank bunker? Will the robot tank be forced off the tank bunker, or will it get stuck inside?

chronolegionnaire vanishes everything. If you destroy an oil derrick, you cant build on it, but if you chronolegionnaire it, it actually disappears and leaves no mark so you can build on it straight away.

When a vehicle Is lifted by the magnetron all its movement Is stoped until it lands.
If a magnetron tries to lift another magnetron lifting another vehicle it will just stop flying.
it will just fall
any unit that get lifted will stop everything it's doing, so the second the second magnetron lifts the first one, unit zero will fall back

is it possible with a barracks a grinder along with 2 or more cloning vats (along with the power and infrastructure to get them all built of course ) to make enough money to equal a harvester mining ore or more? if it does work which infantry unit or combo of infantry will give you greater returns? in clones down under you have to deal with 3 of them vats so there is something to start with there.
you can already exceed the rate of one Harvester if you have an industrial plant by tossing discounted Rhinos into a Grinder (they'll still give full price refunds.)

Another question: engineer in IFV can repair the sub when it attack or under attack or usual.
Does attacking ship from side front or back does the same or different damage ? Since many ship in this world have Anti torpedo protection which could reduce incoming damage from torpedo. And including gunfire because of more armor to be penatrated make it less chance to hit something that important.
RA2 doesn't have directional damage.
Also all ships take up only a 1x1 gridspace despite their sprite not looking like it.

Got a question for TG that I recently thought of: If your opponent threatens to chronosphere 9 apocalypse tanks into your base and then Iron curtains them, what would be best way to stop the attack without using mind control. Imagine the horrors in a team play map where a pair of allied and soviet players plan to finish the game this way.

@@Lapantouflemagic0 I was thinking of chrono legionnaires. Proven there's enough of them and you also tell some of them to aim at the center apocalypse tank. Other than that, lots of chaos drones. Kirovs work too, but what about other mod factions like Foehn, GDI and Nod?

chronolegionnaire vanishes everything. If you destroy an oil derrick, you cant build on it, but if you chronolegionnaire it, it actually disappears and leaves no mark so you can build on it straight away.

Afaik. MiG from Boris A is get out from the map if Boris A dies.
Boris B has his own MiGs. If Boris A dies his MiGs will bug-out meaning they're aborting the mission and retreating
When a packed MCV collects an armour upgrade from a crate, does the upgrade apply to the structure when it's deployed?
No, the upgrade is lost. It's been tested in the first video.
