INSANE LONG RANGE ATTACK. idk if you already know this, but a long time ago, i've found a cool glitch with the v3 rocket launchers: get in range of any enemy objetive (structure or unit) but facing the opposite way with the v3 truck, order the truck to attack the objetive, and as soon as the truck face turns on the designated target, order it to move away (changing of the course does not affect the glitch, so you can send him very far away) when the truck stops moving, it will launch the rockets to that designated target no matter the distance. (this glitch works with more than 1 truck at the same time, and can be done with the dreadnaughts too)

At least now I get a clearer understanding of the Spy Satellite and Map Reveal crate. I guess... Spy Satellite actually does override the Map Reveal ability from the crate. My initial thought of the Map Reveal ability from crate still being active even after selling Spy Satellite is wrong all along. Lesson learned: forget about the Spy Satellite after taking advantage of a Map Reveal crate; build only when Map Reveal crate is not taken. Thanks once again for featuring my question! The Wall thing around Barracks also works for the entrance of the Ore Refineries, since it blocks miners from returning. Now in Mental Omega, Deployed Shadow Tanks can form a wall too, creating the exact same result, but way more confusing since the enemy cannot see the stealthed units :P

The *_Soviet_* cloning vats would generate a free infantry unit, while a walled-off barracks would refund the cost of the unit, leaving the free unit (and, effectively, letting you get infinite free infantry). According to Gamepedia, the launch version of Red Alert 2 also would generate a free infantry unit when units emerged from Tech Hospitals (which, in RA2, would heal units sent into them, as opposed to passively healing all infantry units on the owner's side). Not only could this generate units from nothing, but since the Cloning Vats could recycle infantry units, I suppose could also be used to generate infinite resources. Sounds like quite the oversight for the base game! (This was fixed in version 1.004). This is more for history's sake, as Red Alert 2 as contained within The First Decade and the Ultimate Collection contain the last official patch, 1.006.
As for the history, there was another funny bug there. When you sell Tanya in Cloning Vats, she will return her full cost, not half (maybe because of perfect genetic material). Her clone will do the same, so for price of one Tanya, you'll return price of two. Same thing, intinite money, but requires combining Soviet and Alliance tech. Fixed in YR and in later RA2 patch (1.0005 I suppose).

Weird one that i recall experiencing and some ppl mentioning it way back but not since. With the original disc version of RA2 in the final allied mission if you garrison the Kremlin you would fail the mission but with the right buildings you would get a "new construction option" briefly that being Romanov ofc you would fail still. Haven't tried to duplicate it
Interesting new stuff Does mind control reset the amount needed to get a promotion bar? Is it the same for 'being released from mind control'? Do crates that promote you reset the promotion bar? ex: seal kills 3 seals (and needs another 1 to get to vet) takes a promotion crate, how many more kills will promote him to elite 1 or 4 again?
not a question, but here's a thing i found. not sure if it was mentioned before even though boomer torpedoes are actually weaker than typhoon sub torpedoes, they are stronger for killing infantry units (Tanya, Seal) than typhoon torps
You get free infantry out of cloning facility in RA2 if you wall off barrack. This is not the case in RA2YR, else Yuri would be damn OP with free money from Genetic Mutator.

If you Chronoshift a landed Kirov onto a low or high bridge and then destroy the bridge is the Kriov destroyed? And does it still deal splash damaged when destroyed? Can you do the same with Floating Disks? Or is there no way to get them to stay on the ground? Likewise, if you Chronoshift a Kirov or Floating Disk where a bridge used to be and repair the bridge, will that destroy the Kirov or Floating Disk? And does it still deal splash damage?
A lot of sources I've seen - including your own fine videos - have shown that units possessed by the Psychic Dominator superweapon are immune to being re-possessed by Yuris, Masterminds, and Psychic Beacons, but I've got to ask ... do you know if an enemy with their own Psychic Dominator can overrule this? Or does the first Psychic Dominator blast make all future attempts at mind-control futile?

When you mind control a battle fortress, do the infantry inside fight for you also, even though theyre not directly mind controlled themselves?

I think disk will just make enemy power 0, regardless of how many power plants he has
