I picked up my copy from either CompUSA or CircuitCity for $5 when they used to repackage older games headed for abandonware. This led to the rabbit hole of Mods and then Armada 2 and Fleet Operations. I still play instant action occasionally. The early AI made it difficult to strike a balance between an easy cakewalk and relentless overwhelming aggression and utter annihilation. lol

should still be able to play multiplayer but with a third party software its called "GameRanger" but last time i tried it was like 10 years ago and no one was playing any games or joining a game i made BUT you can still get together with friends and play

​@silent_buh maybe, but it's my all time favorite game and also the only RTS I could ever get interested in.
ST, I know the factions & tech. Other RTS took too much time to learn the tech trees, & I couldn't get interested in 1 faction over another.

I wish the base Armada II game included some Dominion elements. Really liked how this game included post DS9, Insurrection, and some Voyager elements.
Fleet Ops at least is there to scratch the Dominion Armada II itch
