Heavy Rain with Street Traffic - Blackout Screen [Urban Windows]

- 8 Hours of rain falling on a mildly busy street at 2am.
In this video you get to see the view through a second floor window looking out onto a rainy street view at 2am. You'll hear a bit of traffic, a few streetcars/trams rumble by and the occasional late night chatter. For more videos like this check out my TH-cam channel.

Thanks for getting it right. Others sound like traffic noise dubbed over water pouring. You can hear the slosh of the water kicking up as cars drive by and individual raindrops falling naturally on this one. It sounds real as if I have the window cracked open in a rainy city. I even hear people talking in the distance. Thank you so much. It's very relaxing.

Unlike a lot of those fake ambiance videos where they layer sounds from different places I really strive to keep things as authentic as I can recording video and audio at the same time so the viewer's experience is as authentic and relaxing as possible. :) I'm happy you appreciate it.

I just burst into tears. As a kid i used to live in a place like this when i was living with my dad. I was removed from that home and this video just seems to feel so much like home for me. It was 6 years ago that this happened and this is helping me heal. So from the bottom of my heart. Thank u

I really enjoy this one. I wish you would make a copy of this one but without the blackout. I use to live in New York city on a second flor and almost every time that it rained I would sit close to the window and enjoyed the sound and view of the rain and the traffic. Just bring back so many memories.

So far it has been about 5 nights in a row and this has so far been the most affective to helping me sleep.

Thank you so much for this channel. The quality is better than anything out there in this niche. I love this, reminds me of home 🩶 I grew up in a pretty tourist-y city and monsoon season was the best. It meant less traffic and more rain, more quiet but still with the city feel and the sound of cars driving by. The air feels thick and humid but cool and refreshing. The glow of city lights peak through the sides of a dark curtain. It smells like the agar incense my mom is burning in the next room and the pot of oolong on the stove. I remember it so vividly. I’ll be sleeping good tonight 🎉
I love listening to these types of videos. I always close my eyes and listen to how many cars dive by. Counting them until I fall asleep.

I like to keep my videos organic and in the moment. What I record is what your see/hear and that rawness makes it very immersive. At least that's the way I see it. Wow. Thank you. I was looking for a video like this. Others are way too loud and there are too many cars driving every minute. This reminds me of my childhood. I lived on a country side so there werent many cars driving by my windows and this video fits perfectly. It is the most calming sound ever.

Hear me out,
One of these Pov late night drive, but you can hear other cars pass, the car stops and starts occasionally, honking, speeding cars, rain hitting the windshield, bumps in the road, ect. I know it's 'less calming' but tell me you wouldn't want it.

Add gunshots that’s the only thing that’s missing my entire life. I grew up in Chicago and I still live there but now that I’m in college, I can barely get any sleep. This really helps out a lot, but the gunshots would make it 10 times better.
