I couldn't help but make a video hyping up POE2 and talking about how much respect I have for GGG as a game developer myself. Thanks for watching! Help support my channel by checking out my games over on Steam: store.steampowered.com/developer/aarimous
GGG and PoE are huge inspirations for me. Chris Wilson gave great GDC talk called "Designing Path of Exile to be Played Forever", and it was one of the things that sent me down the indie dev path. Highly recommend looking up that video. Love the sentiment of taking big swings. Great video as always.
Looking forward to PoE 2 so much as well! Was a long time PoE 1 fan, played it like a decade ago. I remember telling people for the longest time that Path of Exile was more Diablo than Diablo 3 was, and of course, played it in hardcore mode because I'm hardcore.
Funny enough, back in 2015 I was playing a lot of D3 and I had a friend try to get me to play POE and I opened it and was like "naww, I hate free games they suck".. I never gave it a fair shot. Then I finally checked it out back during 3.15 (Heist) and I have played every league since.
@@Aarimous So many stories like this. Thankfully, I think GGG is getting an appropriate amount of publicity this time to dispel a lot of misconceptions about what the game is.
Stash packs required if you play more than 50-60 hours hahaha. That’s a great way to put it! Love this. I know building games is a different love than playing games, so nice to see that you can still geek out about games, even if you don’t have the time to put in the hours playing all the new hot releases
I am trying to find a balance between making games and playing games. Video games have always been a part of my life and am learning that taking breaks to play my favorite games can actually inspire me to keep working on my games or even give me new ideas. Cheers!

Cheers! I couldn't help myself but share how hyped I am as a player and a fellow dev.

FINALLY it's coming out...jeez. Very excited for it even if it did take way longer than I expected it would.
I agree it took a while, but it looks like they have been cooking hard!
Great video, thanks for sharing. Path of the exile 2 looks good

The game sucks and is poorly designed
