    Great flight! Sketchy launch though, I know how those rocks are. I learned to kite in a quarry where there were razor sharp rocks some partially embedded into the ground. Had to be super careful. I ended up going around and removing all of those sharp rocks every day. Eventually it was more or less safe to pull up a wing.

      The rocks were really bothering me. Off camera I had to remove so many lines from under the rocks and carefully lay them on top of the sharp rocks. I totally get you. After my first attempt to take off from the highest peak (Oberrothorn 3400 m. AMSL), I needed the help of another guy to remove my wing from the place. The lines got really badly tangled under and between the rocks... It was a nightmare. This is why I was so happy to even take off and fly 😅. Thank you for the comment 👍🏼

    Hi DvYBZ ,you should go direct to Rothorn would save you a lot of energie on the legs🦵💪and time ... This landing was a bit tricky😅🤕🤣 One time I broke two lines on this rothorn take-off because of the loose rocks😕Have a great weekend and relax 👍th-cam.com/video/f6O01Xys7iY/w-d-xo.html

      Hey Mike, I could have hiked straight to Rothorn and take off from there, that's true 😅 The thing is that I wanted to take off from as high as possible... I made Oberrothorn my goal for that day. The stones are a real problem... a pain in the a$$. But now I am happy that I have a shot to Oberrothorn and I don't regret it. If the wind would have had a bit mercy on me, I could have launched from there. I watched your video... cool stuff, man 😉 Have a good time too, thanks a lot for watching 🙏

    Isn't there any paragliding club in Zermatt who could put some artificial grass at the start position?

    • @Dvybz
      @Dvybz  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I really have no idea. My first flight in Zermatt was from Riffelberg take off site (previous video) and there is some natural gras and looks nicer, but usually the launching sites are more or less kinda wild and freestyle if you get what I mean. I think it would be a good idea to have some artificial gras at some of the rocky launch sites, but I gueas the maintenance would be the issue 😕

    It's hard to choose a favorite part of this flight DVybz❗️ The entire episode is Epic and Awesome❗️ your videography was so so excellent and I doubt there will ever be better views from the air of Zermatt and surrounding towns. Your courage in doing this flight alone boggles my mind. So many what ifs. And your comment on landing "gosh, what a nice flight" made me laugh. I expected 🤬🤬 but with a smile❗️ Oh! I thought the shadow on the ground of your landing was a dream! Am I a fan or what⁉️😊

      Your comment made my day 😁I actually really enjoyed the flight, even though it was so short in comparison to the time I needed to hike up there. Let me break it down for you: I hiked for 4 hours to Oberrothorn (the highest peak), spent there 1 hour and 30 minutes (time in which I filmed a bit around, tried to take off but didn't work, packed up my paraglider again), after that I had to hike down for another 30 minutes until I reached the other launch site (Rothorn), I spent there around 1 hour figuring if I can still fly, untangle my lines from the previous crappy packing job and finally managed to take off. I would say a total of 6 and a half hours for 20 minutes of flying 😂. Not many pilots would do what I did, but I didn't care. I just wanted to fly from as high as possible. Sounds really dope knowing that you liked the videography so much. I don't know if you really need that much courage to do what I did... it's more like the fear of dissapointment that I wouldn't like to taste... For instance, to hike up such a long time with this heavy weight on my back, and not being able to take off. That would be the worst nightmare.
      About the shadow... yeah, it looked pretty cool 😎. You are more than a fan, you are a real supporter 💯
      This flight was definitely one of the books 😉

      @@Dvybz yeah if you can afford to pick one up I highly recommend getting one. It makes the flying at higher altitudes so much nicer.
