Well I've been enjoying it in the past 20 years... so for me it did not get boring at all / its jsut one of the games that never gets boring for me. As for the LP flaw that ain't fun for me, but that's the good thing in this game that after so many years you can still find so many different ways to beat it.
The easiest way to defeat Shao Khan is to first jump up and over to Shao Khan, then duck and use the the uppercut. Or just wait until he approaches and use the high kick maneuver over and over. He'll block, back up a little bit, then he'll continue forward.
Has anyone been able to pull off some sort of combo using Baraka's double kick move ( keep tapping the low kick button while your up close to your opponent ) ?
The only thing that disappointed me was that the didn't include the randomly chosen character selection that you could use by holding up and pressing start when the flashing Lu-Kang for the person on the left side or the flashing Reptile for the person on the right side.
Have some pointers which I'm sure you'll appreciate ( hopefully ) . 1.) Starting from your 2nd opponent and on, if you jump away from your opponent, while they are standing next to you, followed up with pressing the low kick button, your opponent should jump towards you, setting them up for whatever combos or moves you have planned for them.
Well, I beg to differ, kind sir or ma'am. I've pulled it off on several occasions, ( I'm not trying to troll you ) in the arcade and I'm pretty sure it also worked for the PS2 as well.
Reptile and Johnny cage were my favorite characters in MK 1 and 2

Have you tried turning invisible and then using the head chomp fatality?

You cant do that... The AI opponent however will sometimes do that, but for the actual player its not possible.
