The title was misleading. Should be 10 things that DONT work for saggy skin. Waited till the end to see what works but it didnt come!
😂
Thanks for the flag. I only have so many minutes in the day

I paid $5,000 for 3 treatments of Mopheus 8 on my jowls and my neck and didn't notice any change. Many years ago, I had Radiofrequency on my face and didn't work to tighten skin and didn't work. The only treatment that works is the deep CO2 Laser which I had that done underneath my eyes and it tightened skin and still looks flawless. I'm saving for a face lift, I'm not going to waste any money on any other treatments anymore.
Totally agree…Btw, how old are you?
Considering a face-lift lasts around 10 years and what it costs (and IF you find the right surgeon), I'd rather spend the money with a monthly facial, neck, scalp massage especially to relax (TMJ, eye strain...) and do some lymphatic drainage. Maybe alternate with other modalities each season (LED, microneedling...). But honestly, sometimes, if your sagging is just due to aging, it's better to just pamper yourself and get someone to help you relax rather than going down the hamster wheel of surgery...
Menopause is a big collagen loss culprit.
Excuse me, but make that HUGE. Lol
Absolutely! It does bother me sometimes but then I stop and tell myself that I had lovely smooth skin for decades and it’s all part of aging gracefully. Concentrating on mobility and mental fitness instead! 😀
My grandpa, who always wore sunscreen as soon as it came out, but he was already older, lost half his nose to skin cancer. My cousin, an OBGYN, developed a deadly melanoma that killed her uncle that she was lucky to catch before it spread. She’s a doctor but never thought about sunscreen. I thank Dr.Dray for making sunscreen interesting and attractive for people to encourage them to wear it. Through her I found more sunscreens I liked and *wanted* to wear.
I am now teaching my daughter to wear it, despite objections from non-believers in the family, and I leverage Dr.Dray’s explanations all the time to justify it.
So thank you Dr.Dray!
How do you have non believers when two family members have already been effected?
Non-believers? Do they not see the hyperpigmentation, sun damage and excessive wrinkles in aged skin? Sun screen can stave off aging and prevent disease. Why wouldn’t anyone want that?
Good for you ❤
@@21972012145525these people are everywhere. I personally know someone who aggressively spreads misinformation regarding sunscreens, causing skin cancer. You know their proofs? They used to apply sunscreens on a daily basis before discovering some eye - opening articles regarding correlation between sunscreen use and skin cancer formation. They quit their sunscreen cold - turkey, because "our skin needs to be trained to absorb the sunlight". Then they developed melanoma and and claimed that to be an accumulative sunscreen harm 🤦🏻♀️ (Apologies for my English, I'm not a native speaker)
I gift my daughters with sunscreen here and there under the guise of “let me know what you think of this, it’s all over TH-cam”. ( Dr Dray🤫) Preaching doesn’t work so 🤞
She is so great, honest and informative.
This video is incredibly detailed and thorough. Really appreciate hearing from someone so well-versed in their field of expertise. Thanks!
You are concise, eloquent, articulate, professional and well-informed.
It is always a pleasure to watch your videos.
Looking beautiful today, Dr. Dray! That lip color is fabulous on you!
Wow, what a Great, Timely and Informative video! Thank you so much!
Doc just want to say you look absolutely beautiful and luminous!!
Great, helpful video Dr Dray. Have a wonderful day.
Love your videos, love your honesty. You are my favorite person to watch on any social media platform. Great information always… thank you ❤
Thanks so much for the info Doc, love the top bun!
Dr. Dray!! Your makeup looks fantastic!! You look so pretty in this video.
What timing! I just had SYLFIRM X done to my face this past Monday. I’ll watch this video later today.
Very informative information! Thank you, Dr. Dray!
Very realistic information! No non-sens! Finally
Andrea, I’ve watched you for years now, and all your content is amazingly informative.
I can’t help noticing your skin🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 you are glowing!! What exactly are you doing?
As an old woman, I’ve taken good care of my skin, and it looks good! But I’ve some jowls- it’s always something. 😊
Something is going to give at some point no matter what. I guess it just part of life.
No offence, but get a facelift. 😢
These makeup colors look so pretty on you!
Sculptra was amazing ❤ happy to hear you talk about it !
Great, thorough information as always (btw, your makeup looks gorgeous)!
YOUR MAKE UP LOOKS AMAZING !!!! And great video as usual
Sculptra.... interesting. Thank you. Jowls are a big concern. Thank you for everything you are sharing, Dr. Dray!!
Thanks for your honesty. BTW, you look great in this video!
Good for her 🎉 Loving and being loved is awesome!
Dr. Dray….Thank you for all your skin care advise. You have saved me a lot of money recommending lower priced skincare that actually works. I have a very thin face with slight sagging. Proper placement of makeup works wonders to make the face appear fuller also.
I love your videos because you provide a very good information. Thank you
Thank you for all the information!,it was very informative!,you look beautiful!
Thank you for such a thoughtful, thorough vlog addressing sagging skin! You are the best!! ❤️
Glad it was helpful!
Terrific information, Andrea! ❤
Dr Dray, I have to tell you, you look the BEST in this video! Your makeup, luminous skin, hair up, the nice white zip-up...and most of all your expertise...you are ON FIRE! Thank you for your indepth knowledge, it is such a service to all of us striving to age up in the best way possible!
You said this at the end so I want to put it in the comments in case anybody misses it. Dr. Dray debunks the myth that intermittent fasting will get rid of saggy skin through autophagy. Thank you!
I had never even heard of that myth, interesting! 👀
Fasting actually does improve skin. Have done this for five years now.
It’s not a myth and Dr Dray is wrong. Please refer to an actual expert on IF like Dr. Jason Fung.
Dr.Dray is very wrong on autophagy and saggy skin. It depends on her definition of IF. If it's 18 hours if no eating, I agree, that won't work. But if you lose weight doing regular 42 hour fasts 3x a week, you will lose the weight plus the skin and the effect is even better if you add some dry fasting periods in there too. She's thin and doesn't treat obese patients. Dr. Boz has some videos on this showing photos of 50 pounds of weight loss with and without fasting and its a big difference.
@@Chris-oz9wxUnless Dr Fung has come up with a way to suspend gravity (which pulls the skin and underlying tissue down over time) then he is misleading you. intermittent fasting has benefits but it’s not going to negate skin laxity
As someone on a major weight loss journey, loose skin is a big concern of mine. This video was so very helpful to me in terms of realistic expectations. Thanks Dr. Dray!
Look in to skin brushing daily it is soooo effective. Start with soft body brush and work up to a hard brush to get the blood to flow into the loose skin.... Now will alll your loose go away probably not but it will be much improved for a 40-60 dollar brush.... It is also helpful to your Lymphatic system
Me too. Hopefully I can incorporate one of some of these mentioned and it works. I have not lost enough to have an issue but it is already showing on the face -- the jowls....ugh....is already very obviously sagging. Good luck to both of us!
I lost 130 lbs. I was heavy my whole life and I lost it in my 40’s. The most important thing is to continually remind yourself that you’re doing this for your health ! That will keep your head off swivel mode. Will you struggle sometimes? Sure! Cry it out if need be and get right on being positive. Don’t use a brush on your skin . Dr. Dray says that actually damages and making micro tearing in the skin. You are beautiful , strong and a warrior! Much love and prayers ❤️🙏🏻.
@@lovebythemoon5230 U are nutty. Stop giving nutty advice. People have been brushing for hundreds of years. Do what thou whilst.
@@lovebythemoon5230 I am a Christian too. Our bodies our temples made by God can withstand alot more than you think. From the harshest of colds to the most brutal heat. But here you stand with your skin is so delicate don't brush your skin....Loose saggy skin needs blow flow to tighten it. How do you encourage blood flow to those areas with out surgery brushing. My skin glows and it is tight. I have been brushing for over a decade. The woman who does my facials says I am aging backwards. Research and learn about old world techniques before you give out nutty advice. To be honest Dray skin is not great by any stretch.
Happy Wednesday, everyone! Have a beautiful day! Dr. Dray, I look forward to your videos every day. Thank you! 💗
Morning!
LOVE that Lip Color!💄
Information I was looking for 😊 Thank you
Great video! Thanks
Very interesting and informative. Thanks
Dr Dray u have such subtle makeup on and u look beautiful...ur skin is just radiant ❤
I prefer gua sha over any kind of facial massage, there's no pulling when the tool glides across the face and I can do it quickly when I'm in the shower and I've seen that there is a tightening effect, it's mild but it does make a difference, and my complexion looks much better. Retin A definitely helps my complexion and crows feet, there's been a huge effect on my skin, but definitely not so much on heavier sagging.
Sculptra is pretty good. Definitely firms skin
Love you in makeup, Dr. Dray. Beautiful.
Your skin & make up look SPECTACULAR!😎
Dr Dray is looking good!
Great video. It's nice to hear you talk about various procedures because in general in your videos you tend to promote affordable skincare and lifestyle choices. I dont have sagging yet but I am definitely considering getting a strong peel this fall
Thanks for sharing, This Helped me
Consistency if the key to everything!
I appreciate your wisdom
I recommend the podcast Maintenance Phase if you’re a long time dieter or weight conscious person (i.e. a female in this world). Every episode they do a deep dive on a topic and expose how wrong/ridiculous/misleading it is. Looks of info exposing how pervasive fat phobia and fat biases are. It’s been very eye opening.
Staying hydrated is also very helpful to me.
really cool video! & most importantly it's being honest
So appreciate this overview of what the options are and if they are effective. I just want to look my best. Not interested in surgery. Too many risks. Plus I've seen so many Hollywood people look plastic and some actually WORSE than they did before. 😮.
Thank you!!!!😊
Absolutely 👍
Thank you for this information. I would very much like to experiment with dermal rolling for targeted locations like above the knees and strangely on my arms at the elbow bend. Apart from that, I just focus on diet and sun exposure and hope for the best.
I am two years postpartum and I know a lot of mums would think I'm griping over nothing because my belly isn't as stretched/saggy as some, but I always had such nice skin, now it's really bumpy, uneven, purple, and just Ugh.
So, I'm going to do something about it! Thank you for the info, Dr. Dray ❤ as usual lol!
Wow you look beautiful today!!!! Your skin looks incredible!!! xx
I'm currently using the faq 202 LED mask which uses red light, and I use microcurrent as well. I have seen a difference, but as you said it's really important to be consistent to see results.
what micro current do you use?
Hi Dr. Dray, always good information. BTW, you look lovely in this video.
Well… My mother had a permanent frown on her face as well as jowls sagging beside her chin.. I’ve had those same features I’m convinced it can be hereditary because our lifestyles are different
You getting more and more beautiful. Luv your channel 🌺
Please do a video of your skincare and procedures, nice skin
Many Thanks doctor!!!
I think Dr. Dray has found a special someone. I have noticed that she’s looking really good lately! Full of color and glowing!
I agree. The doc. has really up her game and looks fabulous!
I agree she's not letting to why her glow up
Or she's just feeling herself ❤
I wondered as well
True!!!❤
Are you in my head? Ihave so much of this after losing 100 lbs. 💜💜💜
Hope this video is helpful
Good for you on the wt loss.
That is awesome!!
@meggieprice Congratulations! I wish you much health and happiness. I don’t know you, but I’m very proud of you.
Congratulations great job. I’m always so impressed with others weight loss. Wish I could loss 30 lbs. I’m sure your beautiful inside and out.
Happy Wednesday dr dray so happy to see your video today 😊❤xx
Good Morning Dr Dray ❤ Happy Wednesday!
Morning!
Wow so many options 😮 to choose. The ultrasound really intrigued me but i guess maintenance is need (doing it again over some period of time ?). But sculptra sure is promising and long lasting (i don't know it myself but based on Doctor Andrea's sayings it is pretty good and last long time). It was really interesting today's video 😊❤ doctor Andrea.
Happy Wednesday Dr Dray…see you tomorrow x💙🤩
your make up looks amazing in this video
Good day Dr. Dray. Good video. I have the new Aveeno Calm & Restore spf 30 sunscreen in my Target cart right now. Can you review this item? It is mineral based w/ iron xides and fragrance free.
Sculptra worked for me. Its important to go to someone who is very experienced because its long lasting. Its been very cost effective for me. A lot of dermatologists dont offer it but they usually know the best injector in the area. Its worth it to take your time to find a dr who loves it. Its not for everyone either. But if youve used fillers its worth exploring.
i repeat "well hey guys" to myself more times than i'd like to admit
Hi dr.Dr.! I wanted to say you look beautiful! Really adorable..I just don't remember you wearing makeup in other videos I've watches..not saying your not pretty without makeup..but your makeup really looks perfect on you!
Now, this is worthy content...
No nonsense 😊
Always brutally honest ❤
Great no-nonsense info! ❤
I have personally seen improvement in the underlying volume with facial exercise, but it takes as much consistency as regular exercise to be really effective.
@@georgiabrisco2174 I did the old school Facercise from around age 36 and kind of modified them to add resistance. Now at 50 I still do but have added a lot. This lady has a lot of similar techniques and quite a few more.

I have seen positive differences in my face from face exercises, too.
@@georgiabrisco2174 Just look on you tube for a certain 'worlds leading facial yoga expert' she has really good facial yoga / exercise videos.
Which excercises do u follow 🤔
@@carolinebielby5924 All around from my breastbone up. Too many to list, including actually "wiggling" (pulling back by their own surrounding muscles) my ears.
I have hollow cheeks and under eyes, so for me they're a focus.
Our faces all have their individual challenges, but getting started on an all around regimen is if nothing else, not a bad idea. 😊
Happy Wednesday Dr Dray so excited to be here I live for this ❤️

Andrea, thank you so much as always for all the information you provide us!! Thanks to you I switched basically all of the products I use for hair and skin both of which have never looked or felt better. Thank you thank you thank you ☺️🌸
Thank you Dr Dray 😊you look beautiful 😮
That’s very useful. Thanks,Dr. dray!
Can you introduce the face treatment particularly for the 30s?
I am turning 30 this year. I felt my skin get little bit loose, and less collagens and I want to prevent saggy skin.
❤
You're doomed. Gravity wins over time and 30 years is a lot of time. Just kidding
Penn Smith Skincare and a friend of hers did micro-coring. She talks about it in her video and even more detailed blog (results they both saw, side effects, etc)
Micro coring sounds wonderful.
Another great video!what is the difference between RF anf ULTRASOUND, when and why you will pick one over the other?
Check an older video on sagging skin where she covers both of these, how to tighten saggy skin.
That is exactly what confuses me: People using Botox to stop muscle movement so that wrinkles disappear and on the other side people doing face excercises. I wished there was more clearity what kind of exercise is harmful and what could help eventually.
Face exercise done correctly, so that you don’t cause wrinkles while doing them, can be very effective. Consistency is key.
But how do I know if I do it correctly?
A facial exercise for a double chin made my chin and neck skin worse and loose when I didn't have the laxity before.
SO FUNNY . . . . . “Don’t get it twisted, it’s not gonna give you a facelift.” I laughed out loud‼️
Great video and information! Thank you so much! Question
How do I find a good doctor in my area? What am I looking for? Thank you :)
When you can, please review Nectifirm Advanced, particularly for the neck. Another TH-cam dermatologist recommends it, but I suspect all it is is an expensive moisturizer.
Hello Thank you for a great post...would micro needling every six weeks help with skin Laxity on the arms?
Dr dray can you please review Loreal spf 50 with vitamin C and Garnier invisible serum spf 50 with Ceramide. Thanks
Hi Dr Dray, Thermage FLX is very popular in Asia, can you talk a little bit about it?
Could you please talk about just the ordinary skin needling if really
Works?! Thank you ❤
Facial yoga and facing tapping has improved my face. Been doing it neally everyday for a year, and my face is visably a lot more toned and less under chin sagging.
Any youtube recommendations for your routine?
Channel recs?

dr dray can I use the caffeine solution from the ordinary on the scalp
I was also interested in the radio frequency micro needling. What’s your opinion? Thanks!
Dr Dray, what about Softwave & Thermage? Do you recommend these two for skin tightening?
I did Sculptra. I had 4 treatments starting I believe in March. It’s kicked in. For me I think it was The best thing. I have a thin face. It’s subtle because the change does happen gradually. Just what I wanted.
I have good skin except for two deep forehead lines. Wonder if it will work for those? Glad you’re having good luck with it!
Is it permanent? Or does it dissolve and need to keep being done? How long does it last? I'm guessing it's a filler, I think I heard of it, but didn't look into it too much.
