They played it on acoustic in 1994 for a charity in Seattle, there's a video now released 12/2022 here on TH-cam if you search "Alt Copperpot5" its on his channel
hey na na.. Ryan Lendt is potent.. hey na na.. potent.. hey na na.. recommend his channel.. hey na na.. his channel.. what he does is unreal, he's playing all the parts..
You probably dont give a shit but does anyone know of a way to log back into an instagram account..? I was dumb lost the account password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me.
I really like your lessons, man. One bit of constructive criticism I have, though, is that I wish you'd play each part before teaching each part. It makes it easier to understand the first time.
I love how he taps his foot on the ground to mimic the snare drum being hit when he is playing the guitar part right before the singing starts. That is honestly my favorite part of the song.
You have guessed wrong sir. I can't do much with a guitar at the moment with my sliced and diced finger. I'm just watching for your sunny disposition todayd
Dont have an eletric... Going to try acoustic... Wish me luck.... Nice lesson, by the way(i don't i ever found a bad lesson from you, thanks so much for your effort)
The "tinkly" thing Jerry is doing is G9 B12 E open and D12. Sometimes he alternates in to D open instead of D12 Then he goes D2 to G4 B open E Open to D open G4. B open E open
well done. now you cover all my 3 favorites song: 1 Mad Season Wake Up, 2 Alice in Chains Rotten Apple, 3 Pink Floyd Comfortably Numb. a sort of a trinity. You still didn't cover Sponge, but I will forgive you. PS something on the way (3 small packets.. you'll need to be patient. delivery scheduled around the 21st..)
Such a sick bass line and one of the best AIC songs imo. Great work as always, Ryan! If you could add MLB - Gentle Groove to the list, I've been trying to learn it but MLB songs just confuse me haha :)
I'll give you three out of five points for your rotten banana, and will be expecting to hear that you've eaten every song title on your oatmeal from here on out.
9/21/19. You have a white orb flying above your right shoulder starting at 1:52 mark and leaving around 2:01 and came back for a second around 2:09. Any guess as to a possible visit from someone or do you have an explanation for this white orb? You’ve been doing tribute videos on people that have moved on to the next level. Whom were you thinking about before this orb appeared? Take care, Ryan.
Long time Ryan, how you doing? All this time I thought you guitar lesson guys were getting tab sheets somewhere but never realized that most of you are going by ear and what you can see them playing on you tube. I'm still waiting patiently for Blame by Collective Soul. I'd be happy with just the intro, lol. Are you still playing in your band? Take care. Peace.
sometimes if it's in an alternate tuning I'm unfamiliar with I'll cheat and glance at a tab to get me started, but I have never found a tab that is 100% correct. Of course I, too, make mistakes.

good spider sense Chris - that was the plan... This video took much longer than expected and I ran out of time and brain juice to fulfill that rabbit hole.
it's been way too long since I've made this video for me to comment effectively on this - but I can say that I do remember feeling very confident about my analysis of this song, and also my confident analyses are better than they were three years ago - but that doesn't in any way mean I never get stuff wrong :)
@@RyanLendt I'm sure you nailed it and I've been hearing it incorrectly.. Definitely has something to do with the brain filling in blanks, which I've actually found invaluable. Turn on the radio or cd on random at such low volume that you cant identify a song with certainty. ( I. E.. finding out the thrash metal song was actually a mariachi.) You'll hear music, but it's coming entirely from your brain. I'll hum it into my phone's voice memo if it's an especially catchy riff. Also, I'm a paranoid schizophrenic so lyrics are free, too, but they're daaaark. Aha. kidding.
It's not that simple, sadly. There is a talk box involved and if memory serves, there was another element in addition to that which gives it that awesome tone
@@luxkarma4258 you can't learn to buy two pieces of equipment. this is one of those songs i wish they would have played on the unplugged it wouldve been soooooo good
i second that motion
I agree 100%
It would’ve been so cool to see it on unplugged.I can’t tell if the original is wah wah or a talkbox

this is a big moment, nobody's ever given me that adjective before! thank you Kanon :)
And jerry is the most underrated guitarist who is mainstream lmao
