For anyone who’s confused by the tuning, it’s basically everlong tuned down a half step. In guitar tuna it’s -30 -10 -10 -10 -10 -10. Or put capo on 1st fret and simply tune to drop d.
Please do more tutorials like this, you’re TH-cam presence would go through the roof. Tons of guys like me trying to learn AIC songs on acoustic. Your cover are out of this world. Please strongly consider more tutorials. 🤘
So much better than the tabs i was finding. You include the bass and it gives it so much more life. Thanks again for proving to be one of the best under-rated musicians on youtube.
Maaan, I love how you did the above-the-fretboard view. So many people do it classic "hey watch this" style, and it kinda gets hard to tell what they're really doing. Nicely done, sir.
This is honestly the best tutorial I've seen on TH-cam for this song. The camera angle + including the picking/strumming pattern earned you an instant subscriber 😎 Please make more like this!
Your cover of rotten apple is very cool simple and sweet.and also thanks for the free tabs you are very generous and God bless you in your future musical endeavors
Dumb me been watching you cover this many many times, trying to learn the song from that, since there is no good tabs anywhere. Today I realised this is the same dude teaching how to play it lol xD This was great and very helpful, thank you. Now it's time to start jamming ;)
Dude, such a clever idea filming that way and picking down the neck in frame. I like the way your brain thinks. Love this song so much. Thanks for sharing your time, energy, knowledge and talent with all of us. 🤘🏽🖤
I tried a dozen tabs and finger charts for a month and couldn’t get it. The camera angle and breakdown was perfect and in 10 minutes I’m jamming it like I’ve played it my whole life. It has to be keyed down to correct tuning for it to work :) Brilliant! And your cover of it is awesome too! Thanks dude!
Outstanding. I've been subbed to your channel for years because of your terrific covers. Couldn't think of a better person to do a tutorial of this classic. Thank you.
You are the man! I love the version you play. This is a great tutorial by the way. Been watching your covers for a long time, glad to see you're still at it.
It's a C7 add 9. You did a good tutorial! I was wondering if you were going to play the C7 Add 9, and you did. Also...EXCELLENT covering of the Bridge part! This is saved to my playlist. BTW, the visuals help IMMENSELY, and this is the PERFECT Camera view, because this is exactly what every guitar player out there is going to be seeing when they follow along. GREAT JOB!
Thanks Nate, I’m saving this for when I am a bit better at guitar. I’m not sure if this is the best camera angle. Most tutorials the camera is face onto the guitar but this seemed to work fairly well especially as you explained what you were doing. A little slower on the bridge would’ve been better, break it down note by note as you did the other sections. Thanks. I love this song.
Thank's a lot I got into alice in chains more when i saw you're cover for this song and now I can learn it Been a huge fan for more than a year now Greeting from Jordan
You have to do more and come up with more videos / covers / originals, for at least your one admirer, ME, since 2012. You were one inspiration when I started out. So glad to watch your videos again. If none I'll be watching. Keep at it, man.
i find the camera angle extremely helpful since it's basically the point of view you have while playing guitar so i guess it sticks to mind more easily! (at least for me) thanks a lot for the tutorial :-)
Hey Nate! I think a normal camera view would actually work better for these tutorials just because that’s what we’re used to when watching other people play. Other than that, these tutorials are super helpful.
Hi Nathan, thanks for the vid & tabs! I dunno if you'll see this, but I was wondering you tuned your guitar the way you did for this one? I was looking at tabs for the song and apparently AIC was using an Eb tuning, so how dyou come to the one you have? It sounds great, just curious!
This song have a deep feeling

You are a life saver
I hope your bed is always comfy and your coffee always perfect 🤘🏽🖤
This is literally the first tutorial I've seen with this camera angle. Immediately subscribed! I love AIC.
Dude, my first thought was “genius.”
Please do more tutorials like this, you’re TH-cam presence would go through the roof. Tons of guys like me trying to learn AIC songs on acoustic. Your cover are out of this world. Please strongly consider more tutorials. 🤘
Camera Angle is great, to bring your right hand in too. So I can see the picking pattern. And on top, you put the tabs. ... Thank you, Nate!
You got me to to pull the guitar from its case, after about a year it was laying there.
Thank you.
So much better than the tabs i was finding. You include the bass and it gives it so much more life. Thanks again for proving to be one of the best under-rated musicians on youtube.
Dude I was literally trying to learn this today without a good tutorial
