That show was an absolute eye opener. I was blown away by the power of the music and the strength of Layne’s voice. As much as I love VH, AIC’s performance is what stood out for me. RIP Layne and Mike.
I saw AIC live also on this tour at Nassau Coliseum in NY. Layne was incredible. I’ve seen a lot of shows in my day and Layne’s voice reverberates through your soul. He barely moves on stage. He just holds the mic (like you saw in soundcheck)and sings his heart out. I remember being blown away by them. I must have been 16. My only regret was being in a grunge phase and not staying for Van Halen because we were “too cool”. Cannot believe I missed out on seeing Eddie play live. We were so stupid.
Jerry Cantrell is an underated guitarist
I didn't get into grunge as it was coming out, but Alice in Chains always impressed me. This vid took me back. Thank you
Love this! What a great time that was and they were so young and at the beginning of their promising career.
Amazing footage and super high quality! 🎉
I've been watching this on and off for a few hours now. Thank you. As always, you rock!
