What a great Song. Makes me think of our wondeful kids. We have two Sons that we had the privilege of watching grow into wonderful Men. One is 37 and the other is 17. We also have one daughter who is 42 who has grown into an absolute Beautiful Woman/Mom. Yes we had our third Baby 20 yrs after our second child😉and even though it was an accident, it feels like that he was always meant to be here and we were so happy and felt so privileged to be able to have a third child. It's quite the experience to have babies in the 80's and then get the chance to have another Baby in the early 2000's. Our two sons look so much alike that they look like twins just 20 yrs apart. We joke and say that we had twin boys that are 20 yrs apart. LOL. Having Children and watching them grow is the greatest gift in the world and it goes by so fast. So cherish every moment you have with your babies and be the best parents you can possibly be and even after they have grown because you never stop being a parent once you have become a parent.
Same for me there is 18 years between my second son and third son. He was born the day before I turned 41 and he wasn't planned it just happened and I wouldn't change it for the world.

Brother talking from experience you gave up one dream to follow another but if those boys are your everything then try to set a little aside and write it down in a journal so when they come around when they older they will know you and not the stories that were told them. I served 10 years until I got hurt and now just now I have a son. I lost my daughter to her mother so it hits home. Just try and keep your head up you will do amazing even if you aren’t there right now.

I stayed for 4 years through cheating, the drug abuse, the worst you could imagine, and I tried I prayed I gave it all I had til it broke me. And I had no choice but to put a stop to it. But this is all I ever wanted was a good man a family man a man he could look up to… it breaks my heart it truly does that my son doesn’t have this.
