12:34am 12/30/22. My only child, my son passed away at the far too young age of 23. We just had his funeral yesterday 1/8/23. Over 300 people showed up to express their love for him. He clearly touched so many lives in his 23 years. It made me so much more proud that I got to be his dad. #23forever

June 7, 1985 I lost my Mom. Mom was 55, I was 23. It still hurts and always will. Well, June 5, 2022 I lost my older brother, Steve was 61. Two weeks later, on Fathers Day, I lost my Dad, who was 92. January 21, 2023 I lost my youngest brother at 55. We decided to wait until June to Celebrate his life and all the others, and on my way home from the cemetery making his burial arrangements, I got a call that my oldest brother passed away. John was 67. Four (4) deaths in less than a year. My younger brother came across this song and thank God for that. It helps to get me through each day! I just lost my 21yo Son on the 3rd. I know and feel your pain. He was on his motorcycle when an 73yo woman pulled out in front of him, she was under the influence. My Son NEVER drank, did drugs, nothing. Yet he's no longer with me and our family due to her irresponsible actions. My heart aches for you, this AWFUL pain will never retreat, it'll always be there. You are not living without him..he is there in your everyday life. And sometimes it will hit home to you. In a song or a place or in the smell of something they loved. It could be as simple as fresh cut grass or after shave. I lost my mom when I was 8years old and she was 29 years old. Going on the 59th year without her. I learned early on in life. You thing when the tears stop falling from your eyes and down your cheeks. That you are past the hard times. Not at all. The tears fall from your heart and touch your sole. It never stops. And you should never want it to. Life will get better. Or at least liveable. Time heals nothing. It only helps you figure out how to live I'm your new normal. And that's not normal at all. But know that they are never truely gone. You just can't see them. But you feel them. 😊

I lost my daughter dad in 2018 so this hits home for me. Going through that at the age of 25 was not something I thought would ever happen. My daughter just turned four two weeks before he passed away. He passed away on his niece birthday so it has been a rough couple years trying to go on with life without him here. 3/27/18 My father passed away at the age of 51 after a horrible motorcycle accident. That same day 4 1/2 hours later my wife gave both to our youngest child. A complete rollercoaster of emotions all at once. This song means a lot to me. I wish he could have been there for his grandsons birth. He was so happy and looking forward to being able to be in the room. My youngest speaks about him like he knew every detail about my dad. He says thing that my dad would have said. My family has suffered way too much loss. 2013 my grandmother, a year later my little sister to a brain aneurysm, two years to the date of my little sister in 2016 my nephew to cardiac arrest, 2017 my best friend to lymphoma, 2018 my brother in law to pancreatic cancer and 2021 my father from complications due to COVID. I stay strong for my mother and I don’t know how she does it. Grief never goes away, we just learn to cope with it. It sucks. 12:34am 12/30/22. My only child, my son passed away at the far too young age of 23. We just had his funeral yesterday 1/8/23. Over 300 people showed up to express their love for him. He clearly touched so many lives in his 23 years. It made me so much more proud that I got to be his dad.

January 21, 2023 I lost my youngest brother at 55. We decided to wait until June to Celebrate his life and all the others, and on my way home from the cemetery making his burial arrangements, I got a call that my oldest brother passed away. John was 67. Four (4) deaths in less than a year. My younger brother came across this song and thank God for that. It helps to get me through each day! It could be as simple as fresh cut grass or after shave. I lost my mom when I was 8years old and she was 29 years old. Going on the 59th year without her. I learned early on in life. You thing when the tears stop falling from your eyes and down your cheeks. That you are past the hard times. Not at all. The tears fall from your heart and touch your sole. It never stops. And you should never want it to. Life will get better. Or at least liveable. Time heals nothing. It only helps you figure out how to live I'm your new normal. And that's not normal at all. But know that they are never truely gone. You just can't see them. But you feel them. 😊

3/27/18 My father passed away at the age of 51 after a horrible motorcycle accident. That same day 4 1/2 hours later my wife gave both to our youngest child. A complete rollercoaster of emotions all at once. This song means a lot to me. I wish he could have been there for his grandsons birth. My family has suffered way too much loss. 2013 my grandmother, a year later my little sister to a brain aneurysm, two years to the date of my little sister in 2016 my nephew to cardiac arrest, 2017 my best friend to lymphoma, 2018 my brother in law to pancreatic cancer and 2021 my father from complications due to COVID. I stay strong for my mother and I don’t know how she does it. Grief never goes away, we just learn to cope with it. It sucks. I ask myself all the time why the younger ones were taken so early, they were all very special in their own ways. Thank you for this. Please keep writing beautiful music like this. I recently lost my son at the age of 30 to a drowning accident in August. Because of my faith, I knew that God heard his cry and reached out from heaven and pulled him from the waters to safety.
