For me, this experience was especially meaningful as my father served as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam, completing two tours and continuing to fly long after. Stepping into the same type of helicopter that my father once flew was both humbling and exhilarating. It brought a deep sense of connection to history and to the legacy of those who served.
