Hey Amy and Eric. Oh wow. Dark skies, rain 🌧️, lightning 🌩️. Was waiting for Eric to sing 🎤 the mighty Thor song 😂. I love the gym but ppl can be mean and judgemental. If I had a room big enough to house a treadmill, elliptical, bike, free weights, back, and at least one arm/shoulder, leg, chest , hip machine and free weights I would gladly workout at home. The land seems endless for new communities. Thanks for the drive. Enjoy your weekend 🤗
It's true - looking for a floorplan that can accommodate space for working out is important to many these days. It is for me. I exercise at home, primarily using DVDs from a particular instructor and her team. Been doing it for years. Problem is, I keep aging, but they never do! 😂 It's amazing seeing the transformation of neighborhoods and roads over time through your driving videos, and you always share great tips and information. Thank you!
Something you didn’t mention about The Palms at Serenoa 55+ community, is that it’s not strictly 55+. With certain restrictions, people younger than 55 can also purchase a home there.
So true! Different communities have different rules. Sometimes it is by community average, sometimes it is by the average of the people living in the home... and sometimes it is that a certain percentage of the community has to be 55+.
The Sky is angry? The Tiki room was my dad’s favorite at Disneyland, California. I started remembering my trips to Disneyland back in 1963. During the time Walt would walk down Main Street. I am sorry. I just do not get that Disney Magic feeling in Disneyworld. Don’t get me wrong. We love visiting Disneyworld! We especially love visiting Epcot. We currently live behind Levi’s Stadium in California. I am already retired from Lockheed. My wife will retire from Kaiser Hospital in less than 2 years. We will sell our 2 story house in less than 5 years. Our house will be paid off in less than 4 years. We will first sell and purchase a 1 story house in Orange County, California. To be close to Disneyland, California. I will than try to convince my wife to purchase a short term rental in the Disneyworld, Florida area.
@@HeartandHomeOrlando I thought it was the Disney Tiki Room reference. It may have been “The Gods are Angry”. It than started raining with thunder and lightning at the Tiki Room.
Here's a question for all the gun owners out there; Do you ever forget that you're carrying a gun? That may sound dumb, but that's exactly what at least one certifiably smart person has done in the past. And the fact that I'm about to talk about about 'em means it didn't end well for him. In Brazil back in February 2023, a lawyer, who was also a firearm fanatic (often posting pics of himself with his arsenal of weapons on social media), took his mother to a hospital to get an MRI scan. Now, MRI machines rely on major magnetic forces. Their full name is literally "Magnetic Resonance Imaging", so it's important that no one bring anything metal into the room while the machine is on. This isn't a lightly given instruction, either. MRI rooms have huge warning signs (that are impossible to miss) instructing not to bring any metal objects inside. But somehow our man failed to declare or forgot the handgun he had concealed in his waistband, which was obviously, made of metal. But once the MRI machine was booted up it was all too clear he had a gun on him because, the magnetic force was so strong, it triggered the gun, fatally wounding the lawyer. So alongside into the room he'd also brought it in with the *safety off.* Wow. The family began to try and blame the hospital for failing to adequately warn them of the dangers of the MRI. They shut up pretty quickly when the hospital produced signed safety protocol documents from both the lawyer and his mother, confirming that they did not have any metal objects on their person before entering the room. TLDR; A lawyer from Brazil brought a gun with the safety off into an MRI gun, which triggered it and killed him. So, by willful ignorance or a major memory lapse, this lawyer is guilty of perishing in an incredibly idiotic manner. I rest my case.
Love these drives. Whether they fall on a Sunday or not. Always informative. Always entertaining. “Chicken Warrrzzz!” 🤣🤣
Glad you like them! We enjoy doing them!

That is too funny!!! I have the same problem with the instructors never getting older!

The sky was angry... Eric's Seinfeld reference. :)

That's quite a story!
