Hey Blake, Thanks for the very insightful review. I have mild hearing loss and for the past 6 years have used another OTC (higher end) in canal hearing aids. I went through 3 pair, each pair worked about a 1/3 of the time. I updated to the new model each time with only slightly better results. So I did my research and decided to try this brand, your video helped me to settle it in my mind to give these a shot. Happy New Year!
I love my MD hearing aids,I originally got the NEO but they were too big for my ears and the chat lady noticed I was looking at the NEO XS and she offered a trade in and sent a return package, the transition was so easy! I can wear them for 18 hours or more and the aids do not lose power. It took a bit of getting used to but by the third day I found the perfect settings for me and I am one happy customer.
Thank you HearSoundly- excellent presentation, very understandable! I did get a pair of MD Hearing Volt as a back up until my Jabra's are ready from Costco for $1600. So what you presented made me feel confident these will be the best for the price and purpose. Todd Muckler
My husband just put on his behind the ear, fully charged set of md hearing aids this morning, while we were having coffee together. Immediately, there was a loud "reverberation" or "feedback" tone-very high-pitched, quite loud for me. He made several adjustments, but the tone didn't stop; it just went in and out continuously, and was very bothersome to me. Has anyone else had that issue with their md hearing aids? do you know what can be done to stop that tone?
I have tried one other brand of the in the ear xs model which worked very well but were expensive. I recently got the MD xs and cannot get them in my ear! Any suggestions? Plus I don’t understand how you control the volume and plan??
Hello! Here's a video on how to insert the devices th-cam.com/video/_aKJlqOJT6I/w-d-xo.html. The button on the devices should allow for program and volume changes. There should be instructions in the box to explain what each push does. Typically a long push will change the program and a short push will increase the volume until you reach max and then it goes back to the start. Hope this helps!
I just bought the Neo 3 days ago. As I was trying to adjust the sound level, the L one gave a high pitch shrieking that I had to turn it off. Called them and was told that the dome was ill-fitted. I moved the dome around but it didn’t work until I turned it off. The company was right: you got to be patient…😅
Wondering what's the best quality options for hearing aids WITHOUT bluetooth, WiFi etc, so not connected. As the MDHearing devices, but in better quality? The person that has to wear them is electrohypersensible.
I haven’t tried the audien BTE version so I’m not entirely sure. That said, I tend to like MD a bit more based on their longer track record. I’ll try to get a pair of the BTE version of audien at some moment to properly compare. 😊
My husband bought Air 3 and it is damaged. Not allowed get down the volume. It is too high. Also last night he charged it and today at 10 am the left hearing aid stopped working. He called since Monday and MD Hearing never answered and never returned the call.
I've found that these companies will answer calls within the 45 day trial period and never answer calls from same number again. OTC Aids I've tried seem to last for couple months.
I bought a pair of the in the ear type from MDHearing and was not satisfied. In the box was a card that said I have 45 days to return or replace them with a different kind and they would get back with me within 24 hours. I sent an email to the address listed and got an email back that acknowledged that they received my email, but I never heard from them again. I finally called them and I have to pay for shipping back to them, but they will refund my money... so they say. I wouldn't buy these.
There are complaints about this company and failure to respond, refund etc. Their website didn't let me get through the hearing test without chat interruptions. Other otc websites are also very aggressive, to be fair. But I wouldn't go for a company with poor customer support.
I ordered them as well. They do show quite a bit in your ear. I wasn’t a fan of that because I wear my hair up a lot. The hearing was good for me. So they’re worth the money but you need to make sure you put the correct size tip on it. The first time I wore them, I had sore ears and felt like it gave me a headache. But I called costumer service and they convinced me to pay the difference ($100) for the neo xs. So they’re sending those to me now and I’ll send these ones back.
@@mimiamsen5721 I hated them. They were very hard to hear with. It felt like ear plugs almost. They made my ears sore and for some reason when I walked into my kids schools, they were screeching non stop so i had to take them out. It was embarrassing
Comments are a turn-off for me to buy this product..what a pity....problems with the product and bad customer service was the issue...bummer-bummer....

I look forward to receiving mine.
I would have really liked if you had reviewed the Volt Max with help and an additional 2 year warranty for around $900.

I just got the MB volt bought from Amazon. I can’t find the answer to do I leave the charger plugged in all the time?

How would you compare the MDHearing Volt Max to the Audien ION BTEaids?

Strange! Have you had any resolution?

“everything you need to know” but I guess I missed the part about how to actually program and use them 😂 (I’m not the brightest bulb on the tree)

I think their customer support is very good

My husband bought the MD hearing NEO and that was a complete waste of money!
Oh no! I just ordered them!
Could you tell us why it was a complete loss ? I just ordered a pair of small MDs. Thanks

Omg ! Do you like your neo xs ?! I was thinking about getting them!
