Loose fitting in the Aprilia's oil system. If you have a similar leak check the fitting in the video. Please like/subscribe to follow along with the race bike build and track videos :)
my 660 started leaking oil with 1000 km it seemed that it was because of the gasket between the block and the filter, but tightening the oil pressure sensor fixed the problem
Thanks for your info, i own a 2011 tuono v4, thinking about a rs660 as well, other than the two issues you have, please keep us uupdated if you find anything else! Subbed! Great video helps alot
Nice video brother. Having the same problem but I have 23k miles on the bike and it just started to happen do you think I could take off the oil filter without fully draining the bike? How much oil do you think I’ll lose.
I too have a oil seepage, I can't identify where it's coming from, mainly left side of engine, didn't fix it by replacing the water and stator cover. Gonna check that before I change the oil pan gasket next. Thanks
Hey my 660 also leaks from left side and I can’t figure out where from. The engine is completely clear, but the radiator has oil on it on the bottom left corner. But the cooling liquid is clean and not contaminated. What was your issue?
@No_Name yeah great bike. Multiple engine and electrical recall. Hell that bike has its own page for problems. You are right no one should be comparing anRS660 to a CBR650 😂
After riding more than 20 000 km with an RS660 and some people in mountains (in France) which has a CBR 650, I can say that the RS 660 beat hands up 😀 And when we exchange our bike and give my RS 660 to people which has a CBR, these people have a blast.µ So yes, one side this bike have some reliability issues, but Aprilia improve each year, and the RS 660 is so funny, so easy to drive... Despite my two issues with this bike, I'll buy a RS660 instead a CBR 650 😉
Are you serious? Learn engine assembly and turn a bolt against an o-ring. What a joke motorcyclist you are. Quality issue? What are you talking aboot? LOL.

I've heard of that too. Good luck
I’m having a leak now from the water hose area and this! Geez my bike just hit 1.9k miles and barely put 20 miles a week on it

check all the bolt torques holding those covers on before replacing everything. Dealer should cover that stuff under warranty.
@@nicholasuselmann2469 thanks will do. And my dealer giving me BS for being a full build track bike, so I took it on my own.
