Never try and ride a bike fast in Switzerland as they have zero tolerance, I like Spain where the Police tell you to give it a handful as you go by to hear the bikes more 🤣🤣
We went to Aragon GP this weekend, stopped when we were near next to a sort of homage monument to the old urban races of Alcañiz to take a pic with our bikes, I was on my tuono v4 and one of my mates in a 1098s and anothe one in a zx6r and then a Guardia Civil patrol car stopped next to us. I thought "we are so fucked we just did serious speed like one minute ago" but they were there for the guy on the A2 limited sv650 LOL Apparently trying to follow the pack he overstayed in the opposing lane for like 300 meters slowly overtaking some cars (no one was coming the other way and good visibility) They gave him just a warning, basically for overtaking too slow LOLOLOL
I live there, and while its still better than some other countries for riding they are getting serious really fast in the last few years, there is a much higher number of mobile speed radars now and they like to hide behind stuff in sunny days (specially when there is a sunny weekend after a couple weeks of rain), or race weekends. I really thought they were going to ruin our MotoGP weekend but now Its just a fun story to tell. We made fun of the sv650 guy all weekend "Mate you got stopped for being bloody slow" ahh fun times
Last year on a lads bike trip we went to barden barden we stayed at the same hotel I remembered that guy straight just for that laugh and the fact he never gave you change after a round of beers

Honestly would take the 999 every time, have awesome memories of those growing up. Watching the likes of Hodgeson, Bayliss, Lavilla and Haslam. Still can’t look at airwaves chewing gum and not remember that livery 😂. Where as you never got any of that with the MV’s.
