I'd love to see a video just like this but about v-twins! What do you think yammie
The Honda CBX 1000 didn’t make the list? Wow
It should be number one.
Well I k ow I don’t need to watch this one.
Cbx probably deserves its own video. 😇
@@SephiMasamune that’s a fair one to say. It’s my favourite motorcycle from the time of crazy hood my beer 🍺 and watch me do this LoL 😂
Well if that’s not on the list I know I don’t need to watch the video thank you for saving 15 minutes of my life 😂
My fav of all time-
1) Single- 690 Duke
2) Twin-1290 SDR/ Night,V Rod/ 1299
3) Triple- Daytona 675/ F3
4) Inline 4- H2/ R1/ CBR250RR
5)V4- RSV4/ Desmocedici RR
6)Inline6- RC166/CBX1050/KZ1300/Valkyrie 1500
What about Wankel?
The Valkyrie is a flat 6 not an inline, but I appreciate you mentioning it since not many people credit it for its fantastic sound!!!
❤❤Proper.
I actually dont mind the classic being more in the list. Love learning the History. And hearing these beasts is a treat in itself! 🌟
CBX Best exhaust note EVER!
Classics are the best. They are the versions the world got to see in its most raw form. No restrictions just pure passion. Love it
I'm happy to see that the classics are being given their proper due. Motorcycle history needs to be recognized.
The rsv4 is definitely the best modern day sound
I thought you wrote Rav4, and I laughed.
I should probably put on m glasses
im surprised the daytona 675 didnt make the list, that bike sounds amazing. Crighton CR700W too
the fact there is no Triumph triple in the list let alone at #1 fully discredits this video.
Yamaha RD500; 499cc two-stroke V4. Absolute beast of a bike and howls like one too.
jea or RG 500 or RD 350 LC or CR80R or or .. wtf
90 degree V twins sound incredible. My SV1000s (own 3 of them) with Two Brothers exhausts are my personal favs.
I had Yoshimura on my old sv1000 it sounded deeper then I expected.
And kinda like my 1290 super duke sound as well.
love the sound out of the m4 exhaust on my sv650
I recently got an old sv650 with a yoshi slip on running for the first time in over a decade and I love the sound of it. Typically I’m the guy who wants a subtle, quiet stock exhaust
Got VTR with titanium Scorpion Oval slipon and with carburetors sounds better than SV1000S
That 166 is GORGEOUS
Crighton Racing should be considered in exhaust compilation lists. That rotary sounds so good.
Sv650! Or maybe the Yamaha CP2. Just gimmie that 2 cylinder BRAAAP
Yeahh brap brap gang!!
I think some honorable mentions from Honda would be the vt250, and any of the vfr lineup from the baby vfr400 through the vf500 all the way up to the big boys like the VFR750 to the RC30. Last point, I’d be interested in a 2-stoke sound list.
Was about to say the VFR has some of the best startup sounds
A bit less well known, but anyone that ever heard the Britten V1000 would not leave it from this video. That thing sounds so efficient and dominant... And it was!
I was at the IOM TT 2023 where one of the 'veterans' , Michael Rutter, had invested tens of thousands of pounds to re-furb the engine on his RC213V-S and paid about £1000 per lap to race it - was by far the best sounding, if not performing, bike on any of the grids. Smelled great too.
Padgett bike have one, it’s a perfect bit of kit.
I was there too, flew from Australia for it. Magical
No triumph triple? I’m surprised
CBX and GPZ550. Beautiful sounds of nostalgia for me.
That Honda 166 sounds insane, wow!
This list was pretty spot on
I love these vids with talks about history of specific bikes
Gosh, that Yamaha though...just gassin'!
I'll admit to being a fan of thumpers, and that Norton Manx just sounds soooo good.
I love this kind of content from you.
To me the best sounding motorcycles were the inline 4 bikes from Japan fitted with a 4 into 1 pipe. Kerker was always my favorite brand of exhaust.
It was cool hearing some of the older bikes, I'd never heard for the Manx before and it was easily my favorite.
I had to pleasure to hear and see 2 of those in real life. What an experience. And also one of them crashed when the owner took it for a ride around the town square. What a sad sight
I wish I had audio, but my Ducati 888 with Fast by Ferracci exhaust was amazing. It would sometimes set off car alarms when I rode past.
🤘🏽
That F4 IS beautiful.
1- Husqvarna Nuda 900 (i have one)
2- Aprilia/Ducati V4
3- Yamaha CP4 engine (I have a MT10)
4- CBX1100
My personal opinion after seeing & lisening to many motorcycles
The 211v sounds so smooth
That Norton is absolutely nuts
The Desmond with that rear seat integrated exhaust sounds soo good
Finally subscribed :)
I just realized this came out a minute ago. Right as I ran out of TH-cam content,
The God’s are on my side today 🤤
I feel like daddy Yammie has a better ring than Papa Yam 🤷♀️
The Ducati 959 also sounds great in the seat. It literally yells "More!" when you wind on the gas.
There are some wankel engine powered race bikes that could arguably fit nicely amongst the motorcycles listed. Norton had one that was fairly popular, and New Atlas currently produces the CR700W that makes 220hp with 690cc and sounds incredible.
I fully expected to see a rotary bike and a Speed Triple. Shocked to not find either of them.
Dang, I need more motorcycles
Im gonna add the 1990 Honda VFR 750 has one of the best exhaust notes I've ever heard
Late 1970's Kawasaki 1000cc with a Kerker chrome exhaust system on it. What a sound echoing through the hills on a cool fall night. I could hear every gear perfectly as the rider blasted away. The incredible Kawasaki water cooled six-cylinder motorcycle simply idling through a small town. The guy did a slow u-turn. That engine sounded like a Ferrari engine. The incredible Suzuki two-cylinder 1000 cc bike sounding like a Chevy V-8 at full throttle heading into the distance. During the hey day of the two stroke Japanese off road motocross bikes, any one of them at full throttle sounding like Satan's chainsaw, throwing dirt a quarter mile behind them as they accelerated. I will never forget that waaaaaa! waaaa! waaaaaa! The biggest two strokes actually had a whomp ! whomp! whomp! sound to them. You had to hang on because when that powerband kicked in, it was, SEEYA!!! Great memories.
i know that a lot of ppl hate on the ninja 650 sound, but I love it. At high rpms in 1-3 gears it sounds super mean. People usually stop and listen and are somewhat spooked. Within street limits you can legally enjoy the exhaust note with the high revs. Its the perfect bike for the street.
There is and never will be anything mean about a parallel twin :')
Ngl, that v5 sounds really damn cool
125cc 2strokes also sound really nice
H❤NDA CR Series
Kawasaki KH250 air cooled two stroke small triple. Sounded amazing.
I love the way the Norton sounds, the best way to describe it is probably c r u n c h. It really does sound super aggressive
Who needs music when you can listen to that glorious sound your motorcycle makes.
Honda CBX 1000 not making list is the biggest shame in youtube Yammie history
Only heard the first bike so far and how can it get better it got way better
Last time I was this early, Marc marquez was still catching up to Rossi
Nothing better than a motorcycle Sounding engine ,,it’s like singing😅
All great-sounding motorcycles, each in their own way. I really lean towards Yamaha cp4 engine as my favorite. And this is coming from the current owner of a Aprilia V4. The cp4 sounds like the high revving V8 engine of a NASCAR. I distinctly remember the sound at a qualifying event of one NASCAR going around the oval. The first time I heard a cp4 engine on the street with an exhaust I thought there was a Nascar coming down the road
1199 Duc Leo pipes. Only bike that ever startled me when firingup.
yoo yammie posted grab your popcorn
Those darn Yamaha bikes keep growing on me! I want one! Either an R7 or an R1!
The first one was the best for me!
You forgot about the six-cylinder Honda. That thing sounds wicked with headers on it.
I use plugphones and a c.crane skywave. The radio in my pocket and the wire running down my back. Not only does this setup last about a week on two rechargeable aa's but the boss never knows im rockin out to acdc at work.
DAYUM that Norton sounds mean! Last thumper I rode was a Buell Blast - same size engine, but boy does it not sound like that beast!
You forgot to mention the Crighton CR700W a Rotary engine motorcycle which sound so good
I’m pissed you didn’t mention triumphs triples 😢
While I enjoy the raw vibes as much as anyone, the Kawasaki H2 supercharger whistle is still my favorite, no matter how brief.
Big fan Papa Yam ❤❤
I cannot believe you left triumph's goated triple out of this list
Thank you for including some of the classics, but you forgot to mention the Moto Guzzi V8.
WAll the people standing around while these monsters rev are like, “what’s that?” “Huh?”
Missed the 1st gen yamaha vmax especially opened up with a ufo exhaust.
My honda hornet (bought because of this channel) lives at redline
Triumph Triples
Please make a versoing of the loudest motorcycles
You have obviously never heard an MV Agusta 750S from the early 70;s. The sound is orgasmic!
motorcycle make cool sound 👍
One of the reasons I could never see myself getting an electric bike....'cause motorcycle go brrrrr......
KTM RC8 sounds amazing
OK. So I didn't watch the whole video because after looking at the playlist, I didn't see my favorite and I was hoping yours. The British beast, 675R. I am running stock exhaust on mine and I still love the unique sound those 3 cylinders.
Love to see KilaCam getting a feature!
my friend still has a ducati 916 and its the on of the best sounding bike...still ride it and it was more than 200k km on it...yeah a couple rebuild but its still on the road
@yammienoob you convinced me to buy a Hayabusa for my first bike! no prior experience and wish me luck :>>
That white noise 😊
Casey Stoner is an aussie legend!
My neighbor LOVES Kid Rock. He threw a brick through my living room window JUST so he could hear it better.
🤔
I think that's why he did it.
Bro must of never heard a vintage z1 and ltd kawis, cammed, race header with a vance&hines tail pipe is 👌
Who else smashed the right arrow key through the blah blah till they got to the clip of the actual motorcycle sounds?
Please try to get a Desmosedici RR on track, my dad used to have one and raced it. He said it was the craziest and most awesome bike ever.
Where's the 2 strokes Yammie? Love the channel
surprised to see honda cbx 1050 is not included here. Best sounding bike of all time
250 cc Gran Prix bikes make a wicked good racket.
CB1050X and rsv4 my best sounding motorcycle of all time
My fav of all time-
1) Monster 900, 1000, SR4
2) Monster 1200R
3) Superduke 1290R
4) FTR 1200
5) CBX1000
6) Thruxton RS
Honda CBX 1000 sounds like a supercar, maybe in part 2?
Harley’s sounds the best by far! especially loud ones.
My favorites
Single: Honda CRF Rally
V-Twin: Harley Davidson FXDR 114
Parallel Twin: Kawasaki Ninja 650
Inline-4: 1983 Suzuki GS1100es with Delkevic exhaust
V4: Aprilia RSV4
Inline-6: Honda CBX 1000
Honda RC46 because of the engine sound and RC46A because the exhaust note and “VTEC kick in yo”
I would like to see do a video on two stroke motorcycles Yamaha had one that used a banshee motor and it was used on the Kenny Roberts replica that alone should say enough It had a compression release and all kinds of cool features a lot of people to this day who wanted banshees used that motor instead of the actual motor that came on a banshee
Do a series where you rate subscribers bikes
Aprilia/Rotax V60 RSV/Tuono from 99-10 is thunder.
Hey yammie do u think mt 15 is a good beginner bike?
Where is the Husqvarna Nuda? That heartbeat note will always have a special place for me
The Akrapovic race system on my cb1000r
Husqvarna Nuda 900 with a nice Remus exhaust.
Thought for sure you were going to book end the video with the honda cbx1050 probably exists because of the rc166
600rr with a toce system (look it up) and the 250RR fireblade
