Great video. Loved the setup, good variety of birds present. The willow definitely a Marsh Tit, white spot present near base of Bill, which is a good indicator. Keep the videos coming 👍
Haha I count myself very lucky to live out in the countryside - but you can definitely try this at a local park 😃 thanks for watching and your kind words 😊
Hello Marc, thanks for showing this nice movie/vlog but i prefer the natural way of filming birds and like to surprised walking around in nature and let it come.Nevertheless i do really enjoy watching the birds in my garden and always gives me a warm feeling to see what happens there!!! Greetings Gijs
Haha you really don't have to be in a hide, especially when it's winter as the birds will come for food anyway! But I take your point 😂 I just wanted an excuse to film a video at that lovely nature reserve
@@marchumphreyphotography I once paid £180 for a Kingfisher hide in Dumfries don't get me wrong it was a great hide and I got nice shots of the fisher but afterwards I was like was it worth the 180 lmao. Nothing excites you more than getting some shots in the wild without a hide. Good video tho!
@@BunkMayne yeah I go back and forth on paid for hides, ultimately a much less satisfying experience than doing it yourself, but I can see the appeal for people who don't have much time on their hands! This is just a free bird hide in my local reserve btw 😃
@@marchumphreyphotography A local hide is good, good to know that other ppl in the community have built it etc! Have you ever done much photography in Scotland?
@@BunkMayne Yes, I first got the wildlife photography bug on the Isle of mull, have visited mull almost every summer since! Have visited a few other places in Scotland, but barely scratched the surface - such a beautiful country
Beautiful images!

Incredible what great pictures you can get with such a simple setup, thanks for sharing Marc!
Thank you for the comment, glad you enjoyed!
Great content Marc, and I enjoyed the nuthatches since I’ve never seen one with my own eyes!
Thank you Stephen 😊 they're such sleek looking birds, fingers crossed you get to see one soon!
Love it Marc!! Thank you for the tips! Can't wait to apply them to my garden
Thanks Daisy 😃
*sighs from my apartment* - i need a house and a garden :) Great simple video but with very nice results! :)

Thanks Gijs, yes you can't beat a walkaround with a camera!
More likely to be Marsh Tit in that woodland habitat Marc, sadly Willow is a very scarce species these days. Enjoyed the video. 👍
Cheers Glen, knew someone would know more than me 💪 thanks for watching
Good photos but I can't help but think that photos within a hide is cheating haha!
