For anyone wondering, In the corner you can do: 5M > 5H > 6H > 2H > 2H > j.5H (Hold) > 6H > 6H > j.S2 > 6H > 6H > j.5H > j.S1 > (Optional Super) In the open I would probably opt for: 5M > 5H > 6H > 2H > 2H > j.5H (Hold) > S1 (Hold) > Dash > 6H > S2 > S2. Gives good dmg and leaves u with unbreakable. Or you could Tag launch after the wallbounce
No you don't understand, the main reason the combo counter become gray is because they could have teched after the 7th hit (also the 2nd combo is also teachable)

The first combo you might have mistimed, the combo counter turned grey on the 8th hit meaning they could have air teched to get out of the combo
but only on the 8th hit, which is the last
