Lived abroad when this was broadcast, so it's new to me. What strikes one at once is that no one gets offended by the banter, which is, to say the least, daringly non-PC. One wonders, were there early SJWs already then, complaining to the BBC? If so, did the BBC just ignore them, instead of kowtowing to them as the BBC does today.

SJWs didn't get as militant in such huge mainstream numbers until the later 2000s decade, with exponential growth since then
