It is a good plugin, no questions at all, but the upgrade to Native shall be free of charge and dont forget this an old plugin and it can't costs 163 euros, this is just a plugin. When it was only for Apollo it was 53 euros, that's the real price of it! Dont be like original SSL with overpriced plugins, untill they have high prices you can take the opportunity to earn more by making a good price!
Hey @UniversalAudio, I love you guys, was waiting for this native version for long time, but come on, we have to pay again to have it? Ok, is just $10 but it doesn't feel right to me.
I just paid $10. It's unacceptable that I have to pay even more for this plugin. I mean, it's amazing, and in my experience, it's the best SSL emulation out there. Come on, guys, give me back my $10! I also purchased a couple of quad cards just to run this because the DSP version is extremely heavy to run. This update should be free. This feels like an absolute abuse of consumers.
u forgot to mention that you have to pay for the SSL upgrade, something UA hasn't done yet with their native rollout. I'm assuming they're indicating that they want to start charging for updates like Waves.
Since starting to buy native plug-ins from you guys. This is the first time I’m questioning whether it’s worth it. Mainly cause I use console one and I’ve already got soft tubes version of both of their SSL strips. Plus I already have their bus compressor and I think it’s amazing. Maybe if it really goes on sale or I can do like two for $100 deal. Nonetheless, this was actually really great with all the stuff that you released with the amps channel strip, and the vocal strip as well.
Great demo! The clarity and warmth that comes from the SSL 4000 E Series is amazing-it really brings out the character in the mix. Quick question: Have you found any unconventional uses for the channel strip, like applying it to instruments or elements outside of the usual drums, bass, and vocals that it’s famous for? Would love to hear your thoughts!
@@tytansoundlab They gave every native plugin for free if we owned the DSP version but not anymore. Now we have to pay for the native version even is we have the DSP version. Check the UAD user forum.
@@UniversalAudio You added to the API channel strip too and it was completely free. Like all the other native plugins. By the way, I don’t need sidechain. For 327€, I absolutely don’t need sidechain. It’s a joke.
Thanks a lot. I waited for a long Time This day. 10€ it’s Nothing for using this plugin without buy a dsp card ( 700€) 😉 Drew do you think That one day we could use THIS ssl 4000 with the console 1?
If you own both SSL plugins, cart the collection and there will be a code in your cart to apply. If you own one SSL plugin, do the same and the price will be $49 for both!
@@UniversalAudio I have read this video already but some of the compressor such as all 1176 are not support this function. There is no side chain button in the VST side chain slot. Moreover did UAD2 plug-in support side chain in Cubase now?

Fantastic, finally, been looking forward to this emulation. It's so good.

The Native upgrade should be free. Nobody should have to pay $10 because of a "new side chain feature" that will never be used.
$10 is sort of a freebie 😂
correction: I just checked the UAD website... it's $49 for the native upgrade. FORTY NINE DOLLARS
@@therearenoruleshere my bad, it's actually $49
Loving the sidechain

Would love some integration with the UC1 controller in LUNA. The channel strip makes a lot more sense to work with while tracking and recording.
UC1 has a 360 Link plugin that you can use to map this plugin as you like.

Sweet! Glad you enjoyed. It's good for ANYTHING! These consoles used to be the way EVERY record was mixed, so it ALL when through it!!
Tried it but prefer the Waves EV2, CLA Mixhub and Softube.
Uad becoming waves! Wanting us to pay for it once again!
Ok but why should I buy the native version of the plugin if I already have the DSP version? This sucks. I'm very disappointed.
You will get it free is you own it already

I suspect Softube will update to support it. But ask them to be sure.
Thanks a lot!
8 year old code...is it any better than the PA (or SSL) versions? I use the Softube here, and love it
Compare and hear for yourself. 👍🏻
Way better if not the best
the learn more link 404's. Where's the link for the live stream?
Can you guys get the 33609 in native? 🙂
Sorry, we can't comment on any future developments or releases. We appreciate your interest though and encourage you to stay tuned.
I second that!
This is like a repeat of the autotune pro plugin debacle. lol they don’t learn.
I own ythe UAD 2 ver How can i get the native is by far the best SSL Emulation
How does it work with the processor? How much does each instance load it? Thank You
Can we use Spark plugin on the road without internet connection?
The Native upgrade should be free!!! never spend another cent with universal audio
hello PLUGIN ALLIANCE !!!
So where can i buy the update? 😃 Will i get an e-mail with a link if i own the UAD-2 version?

Correct, not all have it. The SSL plugins now do as well as Capitol Mastering and API 2500
Huge disappointing for charging upgrade dsp ver. to native version
nickle and dime
Another cheeky cash grab. Very disappointing.
