If you look for a most affordable supplement you may try the D-Lab nutrition supplements for hair They are a little bit similar to nutrafol ones and less expensive around 120$ for a 3 months treatment I think it's the best alternative

Just found your channel, I get nutrafol from my dermatologist. I have androgenic alopecia and lost significant amount of hair in crown area. After a year my hair has grown back (almost lol) my part is narrow still have a ways to go but have been pleased with results so far
Nutrafol broke me out so bad. I still have the 4th month bottle un opened. It really irritate the skin on my face and back. I believe there is no perfect amount of biotin for me, I just don’t need ANY biotin.

I'm using a different supplement than either of these, but I am commenting during the part you talk about biotin. Recently when I have taken biotin supplements I broke out - mostly on my chest and back and I wasn't sure if it was the biotin or collagen because I had never taken them together before. I took biotin years ago and don't remember the breakouts, but in 20 years maybe my body chemistry has changed some. I feel better learning I don't need those high doses. I've been using my supplement for less than a month with no breakouts, but I need to order more to see if I see results later this summer. I've just been noticing a lot of shedding, but I'm also approaching menopause and have been using styling implements more than I did when I was younger. I had wanted to grow my hair out long but got tired of it being thin. If I see any change I may try to grow it out more in the fall.

OMG your hair and skin is it for me. What is your skin regimen please? I need that in my life……your hair too. I have been taking Nutrafol for over a year and it seems to be working. Still trying to grow and thicken my bald spot on the top of my head though. I have changed my diet to plant base to see if this will help. Relaxers don't thin your edges. If the relaxer was making your hair thin, it would've effected your entire head. It sounds like your issue is internal. I also relax my hair and was dealing with thinning edges several years ago. I went natural and it didn't correct the problem. Then, I did some research and discovered that I was iodine deficient due to my diet. Iodine is required in every single cell of the body, so being deficient will definitely affect your health in a big way, whereas you'll actually see it in your looks. Anyway, I started eating more eggs and I started taking an iodine supplement (with the co-nutrients), and BAM, edges grew back and hair got thicker and grew faster like when I was a kid. I also went back to relaxing my hair and have had no issues with my edges. Funfact, Nutrafol has iodine in it as well as the co-nutrents. I do believe that that's one of the major reasons it works so well. I don't take Nutrafol but my cousin does and it has helped her health and hair growth immensely. I, personally, prefer to take my supplements separately as opposed to a multi. I take iodine/iodide, vit-c, d, k-2, zinc, b-complex, msm, fulvic acid, silica, and saw palmetto. I've built up these supplements over time and I NEVER purchase all of them at the same time because that would be insanely expensive. My family literally says "Ch-Ch-Ch-Chia!" when I show up at family functions because they say my hair grows like a Chia pet. I'm old. Lol. You may need to look up "Chia Pet" to understand the reference I made.😊🤭
I'm thinking about trying. I have alopecia. My hair is slow growing and really want a jump start in my hair growth. I hate the price and taking so many but that's the sacrifice.

Loved the video. I have hair but it's thinning on my edges. I do have a relaxer and i dont use heat on my hair unless its my hair appointment.
Relaxers don't thin your edges. If the relaxer was making your hair thin, it would've effected your entire head. It sounds like your issue is internal.
I also relax my hair and was dealing with thinning edges several years ago. I went natural and it didn't correct the problem. Then, I did some research and discovered that I was iodine deficient due to my diet. Iodine is required in every single cell of the body, so being deficient will definitely affect your health in a big way, whereas you'll actually see it in your looks.
Anyway, I started eating more eggs and I started taking an iodine supplement (with the co-nutrients), and BAM, edges grew back and hair got thicker and grew faster like when I was a kid. I also went back to relaxing my hair and have had no issues with my edges.
Funfact, Nutrafol has iodine in it as well as the co-nutrents. I do believe that that's one of the major reasons it works so well. I don't take Nutrafol but my cousin does and it has helped her health and hair growth immensely.
I, personally, prefer to take my supplements separately as opposed to a multi. I take iodine/iodide, vit-c, d, k-2, zinc, b-complex, msm, fulvic acid, silica, and saw palmetto. I've built up these supplements over time and I NEVER purchase all of them at the same time because that would be insanely expensive.
My family literally says "Ch-Ch-Ch-Chia!" when I show up at family functions because they say my hair grows like a Chia pet. I'm old. Lol. You may need to look up "Chia Pet" to understand the reference I made.😊🤭

I believe I’ve been using nutrafol for about 3 /4 years
I'm thinking about trying. I have alopecia. My hair is slow growing and really want a jump start in my hair growth. I hate the price and taking so many but that's the sacrifice.
Should I trim my hair before starting Nutrafol?
Have you tried Regrow?
Nutrafol has ashwaghanda..no MSM though..

Thanks for sharing - everything ain’t for everyone definitely find what works for you and stick to it - it takes on average 3 months before observing any type of results
MSM and Biotin does not work for me.😢 It gives me break outs and makes me gassy.

And coming across your channel and learning about the viviscal, actif organics prenatal supplement & nutrafol had to be the best game changer for me. Because back then at 27. I was just wanting to level up or try different supplements for my hair skin & nails to get better about what I put in my body going into my 30s Era.
Now at 29 I cannot get enough of nitrafol, the actif prenatals & viviscal. Just call it the holy trinity for me at this point.😂
