Doesn't help english has so many synonyms. He said 'modify' trigger when we're more likely to say 'adjust' when it comes to trigger screws. Kudos to him for being open to suggestion and assistance, then again he is motivated to sell us his new toy 😅
That was an intelligent design choice to use glock magazines. An adjustable trigger is also a nice feature. Many Glock knock offs are better than the original. Especially when it comes to triggers and factory sights. The downside to these glockoffs are their magazines. Proprietary, and often more expensive than glock mags. I'll keep an eye on this company and see if these pistols actually make it into widespread production with the current global situation on going.
That has two sides to it. If they use glock mags they're forced to use almost the same grip angle. If they use different mags they're 'free' to make lots of other design choices.

I feel like what he really meant early on when talking about going with a super low bore axis but using a Browning system is that this is a lot more reasonable to produce than something like the Laugo Alien. Sure, it's got a low bore axis but you've got the newfangled piston delayed blowback thing going on. Smart to use Glock sights and magazines with a new baseplate. There's your aftermarket taken care of. Good for him and the other good people at Revo. I wish them much success.
The Alien could be far cheaper - there is nothing about the mechanism that is uniquely difficult or expensive to manufacture. Walther makes a gas delayed blowback pistol that costs less than $500. I think that Laugo could achieve a similar build quality and still make a profit at $2500 per unit if made in larger numbers.
@@henrymumford4937 Laugo is a much smaller and newer company, they've only really been around for about 5 years and the Alien is their first product - which clearly isn't true of Revo. Around 8:00 you can see the slide riding back and fourth when dry firing. Reminds me when I built a poly80 Pf9ss and it had a weak aftermarket recoil spring in it. Made it really unreliable. Using an oem spring made it function correctly. Hopefully this isn’t an issue on this particular firearm
@@npetersen76 have you fired your mr920 much? It’s possible shark fin on your trigger bar is making contact with the slide and pulling the slide back while you pull the trigger. Sometimes it will leave a wear mark on the inside of the slide. I’ve had that be a thing with aftermarket slides/trigger bars. Usually goes away after the the two parts wear into each other. But on my Pf9ss it was a weak spring. Maybe the TB or safety plunger is hanging up on your mr920🤷🏽♂️

Awsome interview! You can tell how proud he is of the pistol, so genuine!
I love working with folks when there is a language barrier like this but we're both enthusiastic about the topic. It's a very cooperative effort that is required and both people end up helping each other out. It has a very "fellowship-y" feel to it and everyone has a lot of laughs/fun. It's like playing charades sometimes. My gf's Uncle is one of my favorite people on earth and he barely speaks English. I'm motivated to sharpen up my Spanish just so I can communicate better with him.
That looks super cool! Really like the engineer too
Would be very interesting to shoot one of those.... The fact that they are compatible with Glock mags is a big plus.

Man. the biggest thing I love about these videos? The language skills. So many knowing a ton, and so much attempting to commnicate with pantomiing and also teaching the hosts words and languages. I friggin love that it isn't just locked out.
languages and communication is so important. and its pretty awesome that firearm video is showing that pretty well.
@@onpsxmember you sure about that? My polymer80 uses Glock mags says otherwise with their 18 degree grip angle. 18 degrees is 1911 grip angle territory.

@@alexduke5402 how’s that counterintuitive?
Innovation doesn’t mean throwing the baby out with the bath water.

As a competitive shooter with a penchant for low bore axis plastic fantastics, I am VERY interested in this gun. I just hope the optic cut is for an RMR or Deltapoint pattern rather than the Docter-Noblex footprint.
at this point offer it with plates or go ACRO footprint, for Aimpoint, Steiner...
@@ichderjogi if they had to go with a footprint for an enclosed emitter dot, I'd much rather it be the Holosun 509t than the ACRO. It weighs less, is made of a more durable material, has a larger window, has better battery life, etc.

Nothing you said is wrong, just providing some context for why they might have chosen something they can sell for a high price in small numbers.
@@jameshealy4594 Good point, though Revo does seem to be a brand new company. They likely have greater startup capital.

My mr920 does the same thing.
So idk if it’s necessarily an issue.
It might have something to do with the chassis moving in the grip frame. Just a guess.
Also, it's not in production yet, so it's very possible that the prototype has imperfect springs.
@@PatrickS9595 probably only 200 rounds. But have run the slide probably 1000 times because I also had a problem where the slide was hanging up on the barrel and keeping the gun out of battery.
It cause a lot of malfunctions before I stood there for 15 mins just racking the slide over and over.
It’s had no problems in the last 100 rounds.
Still hangs up a little bit when I move the slide slowly and still clicks forward a bit when I dry fire the gun just like in the above video.
Italians sure do love to refine the wonderful basics into works of art. Cars guns whatever goddamn
