Sorry I accidentally stopped the video early. I think the bees we saw flying around were bees following the queen when she went out for her mating flight. Sorry I didnt get in on camera because it was a sight to see all those bees come back to the hive!
@@sunnimartin3079 I dont think they always follow the queen for their mating flight but I have researched it and some others have witnessed the same thing on some occasions. A friend of mine has witnessed it in his apiary as well. Thanks for watching!
