I seen at lot of the Big Match revisited and it seems Chelsea were on like every other week in them days when the team wasn't very good. Why was that did they have some agreement with LWT or something.
@@bazza-e9t I'll have to look it up. AFC were running the show in London from 1970/73 and weren't very good again up till about 1977/78. The Big Match Revisited only seems to take shows from about 1974/75 onwards maybe it's a licensing thing
Disagree totally , many of the games back then were superb , great skill passing etc. Diving in its infancy , great atmospheres , proper tackling and no stupid rehearsed goal celebrations and twats with their phones out all the time and not watching the game . I think you’re using a pudding of a pitch at Stamford Bridge as you’re yardstick

There is a very good book out now, 'Brian Moore saved our Sundays'. Great read. It appears Arsenal were on the most.
