The only thing that could Complete my joy would be for BOTH CHE and Citeh, the two clubs that started rampant player wage inflation in the first place, to miss the CL spots in the end. There would be something poetic about that.
One of the only reasons why Amorin's words circulate as much as they do is because Neville is on every forum talking about United, even when there's nowt to talk about
While I respect Gary's opinion. I really don't agree with his assessment of this game. Sure, Man City were shaky the opening 15 mins. Fell behind thanks to a bad error, from a 20yr old in his 1st EPL game. But after that, Manchester City dominated! Palmer missed 1 decent chance. Meanwhile, Gvardiol missed 2 sitters, Foden hit the post, Marmoush had a goal disallowed for being needlessly offside, and he also missed setting up Foden for a sure tap in, Haaland missed a similar shot as Cole did, etc etc. City could've scored 5-6! Maresca having his team play a high line, despite City being vulnerable to the counter. Was more the reason for Chelsea's loss. Just sayin, call it as it was Mr. Neville.🙄👌
I would like to know why GN was at WEF/Davos recently? Why he supports Starmer enough to interview him on his "stick to football" podcast. Keep out of politics, mate. You kicked a ball for a living. You ain't a social engineer.
Cole Palmer is one of the best players in the world right now but if he is to become a legendary footballer, these are the kind of matches where I as a Chelsea fan would expect him more than anyone else to turn up. It may sound unfair but that is precisely how good footballers become great footballers. By overcoming adversity and carrying their team even if there is an unfair amount of pressure on the player. We saw the same from the likes of Eden Hazard or even Messi where they could carry their team and turn up when nobody else could in big matches. That being said, Palmer is still 22 and has a lot of room for improvement. When he gets the experience and perfects his on-field decision making, there will be no ceiling he cannot reach.
26:45 you can’t treat a football club like a business. These players are in a privileged position and they can deliver more. We’ve seen it against Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City. This all started with Maresca accepting Chelsea aren't good enough to win the league and saying stuff like we're behind teams like City Arsenal and Liverpool. You just cannot say that. Chelsea scored first against Fulham, Bournemouth, Palace, Wolves and City, and only won 1 out of those 5 games, Mourinho's Chelsea would laugh at this defence. And that really is the difference Chelsea had leaders back then, now just a bunch of kids with potential.

How was Davos Gary???
"get the ball up to the big man with quality" - only works if City's opponents go man-to-man, if City drop momentarily to leave a massive gap up to Haaland and if Ederson can play "that" ball - the long, fast, low ball over the top. When it works it's amazing but it's more than just "long ball up to the big lad."
It’s exactly long ball up to the big lad! Most of the time he was playing more like England lumping it to Hesky to hold it up.
Won’t work every week, sure, but lumping it up to the big guy works
Been wondering for a while why they don’t just do that. All that sideways passing just knock it long.
Gary Neville the greatest manager ever, saying players should of ignored the managers instructions and changed the way they play.....

Gary you're doing too much mate. He's got the overlap, punditry, commentating, and then he's doing this Gary Neville podcast straight off the back of the commentary. I feel like I see him more than my family
His wife is probably buzzing
All that money and he must spend no time with his family and kids, quite sad. The reason why I’d want to make so much money, is to spend more time with my family
He enjoys his job. Tbh it is a great job with a big salary.
You act as though there arent a million channels and a million other videos you could be watching instead. Youre choosing to click on his content, thats a you problem
@mindaugasmazrimas4554 his content appears everywhere, due to the algorithm, because I watch a lot of football videos. If you don't understand the basics of how internet works, that's a you problem. Happy to educate you if you like, my fees are reasonable. How is your reading and basic math?
i dont always agree with neville but he hit the nail on the head with us. its not just this game, we always fade in games and never adapt on the fly! its lack of experience from the players and the manager too. it is absolutely the next step in our development that needs to happen. i do think we need time to learn that but its been the same problem for the past 10 games or so!

Ok as a former manager, you can't be seriously telling us that you'd want your players to change the game play on their own and not follow what you told them before the game.
Why you at WEF????
Have to agree with Gary on the take on the Man City new centre back. I could see that after the goal, he’s own team mates wasn’t even trying to pass to him unless they had to, that was the moment Chelsea should have applied a really big press, full guns blazing
No word about Liverpool? Not a single mention? A 4-1 win?

40 mins. Loved this, thanks Gary 👏
If Citeh fail to win on Wednesday, it will cap an absolutely marvellous season from my perspective. In my wildest dreams I never would have conceived:
- LIV winning the league
- LIV Being top of the CL
- ManU in the bottom half and out of the CL for 2nd str8 season
- Citeh knocked out of the CL in the league stage
- CHE threatening to miss CL for a 2nd year in a row too.
The only thing that could
Complete my joy would be for BOTH CHE and Citeh, the two clubs that started rampant player wage inflation in the first place, to miss the CL spots in the end.
Neville.🙄👌
Joke's on the WEF, I already don't own anything and am not happy.
I would like to know why GN was at WEF/Davos recently? Why he supports Starmer enough to interview him on his "stick to football" podcast. Keep out of politics, mate. You kicked a ball for a living. You ain't a social engineer.

Eh
how was davos
Brushing over the Arsenal incident like you didn’t see it. In the pocket of the PGMOL
Chelsea had nothing to offer. Gary at this moment in time is Right
Cole Palmer is one of the best players in the world right now but if he is to become a legendary footballer, these are the kind of matches where I as a Chelsea fan would expect him more than anyone else to turn up.
He probably thought Akanji was gonna hoof it out of the stadium which is what should have happened.
