  • The fix for the clicking in the dash and no heat on a 2002 an up ford explorer. This how i fixed this SUV.

    I call the clicking noise "wood pecker", drives me nuts. Helpful tips!

    Thanks for the help. worked well however a bit more info. on removing the side panel would be helpful to others in the future.

    What did you use to reach the 3 bolts for the actuator?

      Ratchet wrench, it is a little tight though.

    That style of motor and gears is called a "Worm Drive"...
