The names I believe are all randomly generated as well and potentially all unique. Would be a lot of work to have several hundred thousand names in the bank but depending how they're generated it's likely simpler than that. Have yet to see a duplicate name either way tho

Illuminate also coming back, possibly under a new regime like Germany did if the leaks are right is also interesting. I really want to know what they've been up to after their empire got dismantled in the first game. Did they splinter? Are there multiple Illuminate governments now? Can a smaller/newer Illuminate empire come out with new tech and be stronger? Do they have a new ideology? Could we possibly see human sympathizers as auxiliaries working as their fodder in-game? Cyborgs made automatons, infact I believe automatons are cyborgs who escaped SEAF forces during first galactic war mastered their cybernetic augmenation and become full synthetic. If they're anything like they were in the first game, I doubt they'd be "cannon fodder". The Automatons fight like machines, but the Cyborgs were savages. They had these grotesque melds of flesh and metal with buzzsaws for hands that would full sprint at you while laughing psychotically. You could put a good three rail gun rounds in them and they'd still just froth at the mouth and not even be staggered. If anything, I'd be more concerned about the Cyborgs considering their complete lack of self preservation and mania. This was also oddly enough imposed with some more conventional tactics such as squads with the squad leader having heavier armor and a grenade launcher arm and the squad members having gun arms. Their hulks were also armed with either chain guns and a shield at the cost of their front still being fleshy resulting in them being weaker when their shield is down, and there was also the other hulk variant that had an Autocannon arm and an empty other hand that it would crush you with if you got close. Those ones were so heavily armored that even a railgun could not damage it nor were they vulnerable to gas attacks, unlike the first hulk variant. You had to use armor penning explosives like a recoiless rifle or a sufficiently explosive stratagem to take them down.
From the skies to the seas, Cyberstan will be free! Becoming cyborgs to adapt to qorking conditions, and creating a union? Big parallels between Solaris United and Cyberstan.
I fear the moment the automaton forces start to reuse the dogs. The only way to complete high-automaton missions is to evade patrols, and run frome the Hulks and Factory Striders. With dogs, if you get spotted, you won't be able to retreat anymore.
Id like to think the automatons were orchestrated by the illuminate. Create the automatons as a means to carry out their will in a subtle manner so as to not tip off super earth and use the force to rally and meet with the cyborgs.

The Bugs and Illuminate were peaceful factions who reached out to Super Earth on friendly terms. Super Earth had none of this shit and immediately declared war on them both. Dissident civilians - who apparently had to augment themselves to survive Super Earth's enslavement - formed into a group known as Cyborgs and were also forced to fight Super Earth who would not tolerate their desire to be left alone. We thought we killed all the squids and quarantined all the bugs and bots for maximum profit via their farming/enslavement. However, the Cyborgs has created the Automatons as a contingency plan, the bugs garnered strength, and the Squids just withdrew enough to come back with a vengeance. So now we have three groups who know our long history of warmongering and who want us dead. And one of the factions just liberated their home base and freed their creators who already hated Super Earth and who have been enslaved by them harshly for the last century.
That’s the point of course, to make fun of the sheer stupidity and cruelty of fascism. It’s just a little annoying that people act like super earth is the good guy here when they are obviously not.

Hulks are easy to take out, stun and two AMR shots to the head= dead.

Id like to think the automatons were orchestrated by the illuminate. Create the automatons as a means to carry out their will in a subtle manner so as to not tip off super earth and use the force to rally and meet with the cyborgs.

@@K_Balu theres no evidence to support that, and doesn't seem likely, if considering that the cyborgs were held under lock and key. Super earth would have caught wind the moment the cyborgs started raising an army or using FTL technologies to spread to other planets

The Bugs and Illuminate were peaceful factions who reached out to Super Earth on friendly terms. Super Earth had none of this shit and immediately declared war on them both.
Dissident civilians - who apparently had to augment themselves to survive Super Earth's enslavement - formed into a group known as Cyborgs and were also forced to fight Super Earth who would not tolerate their desire to be left alone.
We thought we killed all the squids and quarantined all the bugs and bots for maximum profit via their farming/enslavement. However, the Cyborgs has created the Automatons as a contingency plan, the bugs garnered strength, and the Squids just withdrew enough to come back with a vengeance.
So now we have three groups who know our long history of warmongering and who want us dead. And one of the factions just liberated their home base and freed their creators who already hated Super Earth and who have been enslaved by them harshly for the last century.

@@deathisdead270 super earth may not be the good guys, but they’re human. And really they’re the only human faction. I didn’t play helldivers 1 but from what I’ve seen the cyborgs do enjoy modifying their bodies. I may not like fascists but I like humans
