- Cross RC has built up a reputation for offering some very scale RC crawler kits. There are certainly plenty of offerings to choose one, so when we decided to take a closer look at their line-up, we went with one of their flagship models, the Demon SP-4C crawler kit. This truck has everything! First up, it’s a build kit so you can assemble and detail it to your specs. Next the body on it is a hard ABS body and it’s multiple pieces, cab, hood, doors, bed; they’re all separate. Then the body fits onto a nearly all metal platform, metal transmission, transfer case, frame, axle links and shocks. It’s aluminum goodness as far as they eye can see. I love the type of orange that you used, and yes, the black on the hood does look good especially with the black 'camper shell' and running boards. You should put a beer can in that cupholder for the driver!

Great video Greg👍👍 Cross makes some of the best scale rigs out there. I know what you mean about taking the time to build. I got the SU4C and SP4B. I put so much detail in the SU4C that I didn't even start the SP4B🤣😂

I know its a older vid, i just started a Demon SU4, its the SUV of that truck i have done a few Traxxas kits, and a Cross Demon KR4 (lexan) but was a really nice kit, My SU4 is a lot more detailed and invilved as your was. either way nice truck you built, and cant wait to do mine...👍👍
Hmmm not sure if I still have the patience I once did like when I was a kid to do those models ... paint each piece and wait ughhh .. but it looks amazing and idk might try one of these someday lmao 😂 good job Greg !!!

Awesome build. I have both the Sg4 and Sp4. You might want to put heat shirk tube on the ring holding the pin in the drive shaft. My wife knocked the ring off and lost the pin on the trail. Great video man.

Been waiting on this vid. I did the sg4c and the su4c alot of mods to the sg4c and it is a very capable rig su4c is for show and tell. I like showing up with a less capable rig and out driving a vanqish or built axial and looking good doing it.

Cool vid ! Thanks. Did you have any issues putting together the beadlock wheels ? My kit seemed to have the tire foams way too big for the actual tires and the foam was kind of dry and quite hard. Had to cut off some of the foam in order to be able to fit and close the beadlocks...

Good question. I didn't see any documentation that they were. Didn't seem like they're coated either. I could be wrong.

Can the battery tray fit a 3 cell 5000 mah soft pack battery?
The tray is pretty shallow, it needs think packs. It’s been a while since I’ve used that truck, but I’m going to say that even a soft 5000 pack won’t fit.

@@lindsaystewart8288 I was able to fit a fat 5200 in mine. You just have to shave down the bottom of the cover. Its tight but will fits.
Did Cross replace the tyranny with one that won't dynamite itself? The waterfall would have been a great crawl.

I had a problem with the front bumper lights they sent me a new set they did not work either. sent a message to Michael no reply back. replaced with a cheap Chinese set they worked.

All that work and video info. Beautiful truck. And you do a run with no Driver 🤔😕 I will never get that about the Hobby scale this Scale that blah blah blah. Almost 600 bucks to build and make a realistic truck and no Driver 🤔 what a bunch of hot air

what up yeah this truck is so nice and I'm scratching my head and getting annoyed with all the talk about scale and there's no stinking driver and there's 10,000 views with praise. THERE'S NO STINKING DRIVER ITS NOT SCALE IF THERE'S NO ONE DRIVING. 😁😁😁😎😎👍
