- I often get asked, "what is it like to have a pet bunny"? I'm not sure hahaha. There's a learning curve to have a pet bunny, just like any pet out there. It's a lot of talking to yourself because a bunny isn't going to meow or bark at you. For instance, my bunny Ellie doesn't always want to be petted. She's an independent girl. 😉

I have felt the softness of a bunny. No one blames you for being unable to stop petting such softness.
Costant attention and pets, no personal space, expensive vet bills and feeding bills, takes up %50 of your water bill (from their drinking water), your doom is secretly being planned, your snack drawers are getting raided, your cords getting snipped….
Most important of all…
They are constantly giving love and kisses, never leave your side, know when your sad and comfort u, funny, adorable, and somehow understand you and can communicate to you.
Buns being the soft, cute looking things they are were meant to be petted, loved, hugged, cuddled, and adored. They are so soft, and warm. Thanks for sharing the fwuffy, little cutie pie with us. 😊

BoBo and Ellie are very well behaved bunnies, with such very good temperaments. It shows how much time and effort you've put into them! I couldn't resist squishing and stroking them either! 🤗🐇🐰🥰

I love lops so much, mine is an english lop and she's such a puppy! Super cuddly and loves doing tricks, but also a hell of a temperament... yours seems so well behaved but you can see the pure sass of a bun shining through
My bunny rabbits were the coolest kids! Funny, smart and so affectionate. I used to call my last little buddy a puppy rabbit. He would do zooms around the room when I got home 😁❤
Wow, she’s so well behaved. My rabbit is a diva. He’s letting us stay in his house, not the other way around😂. He also doesn’t like hay very much, he’ll eat it if he doesn’t have any other food but he’ll do it with his back turned to us in anger. Sometimes I think I have a cat-dog mix instead of a rabbit. Because even though he is bossy he still loves playing tag and hide and seek.

She's so adorable and has such a vibrant personality! My Nozomu also loves pellets (we keep calling them "snacks" haha) and I was able to teach them some neat tricks and commands thanks to that. But to be frank, Nozu learned some things themselves, they're incredibly smart! 🙌 It's funny to see how Ellie doesn't like being pet all the time, I'm used to how Nozu always wants to cuddle. They follow me every time I enter the room and want some head pats 😆

A long time ago my wife fell for a rabbit stuck in a cage at a humane society. There was something a bit unusual in its behavior. So, we took it home with us. It turned to be one of the most amazing and eye-opening experiences. These creatures are way more intelligent than people generally give them credit for. When I was growing up my friends kept rabbits in cages in the back yard. It turns out that our new bunny was toilet trained. She would only do it in her cage, otherwise she had free reign of the house. She played with the cats (who couldn't quite figure her out) or played with balloons.
I'd love to have a bun as a pet. Sadly I work long hours and wouldn't be able to give them the attention and care they would need.

For me it's like you have to constantly clean their litterbox brush them Alot trim their nail give them attention feed and water them every day and give them lots of space

To anyone interested in owning a rabbit- they’re high maintenance, need a lot of space, and bond with their humans very closely. Make sure you can provide the care, the space, and the emotional support before even thinking of getting one, for the love of god.

I've had pet bunnies most of my adult life. And I can say the only bad thing is constantly vacuuming their poop pellets LOL:-) even though each of my rabbits was potty trained or I should say litter box trained they still managed to get poop everywhere!😄😊🐇🐇💕💕💕

My bunny is 11 years old. Best advice I can give.... give them a LOT of attention and love. They can get depressed. But they are so intelligent, I never could have imagined. Not too many treats either, hay and love.

My girlfriend has a holland lop named Chester! He’s deaf unfortunately, so he’s easily startled and will start kicking like crazy if he gets picked up. He also has this weird attitude where he’ll be sad if we leave him alone but then mad if we try to pet him. Food and snuggles are at least 2 things he enjoys!
